I think he came to cheer Sai up so he doesn't get too carried away in emotions. Sai should remain professional in his dealings. Jitna bhi he's connected to Raghav, it's going to be one of the multiple characters he will play in his long and bright career. He needs to be strong.

Sai has done multiple characters and will do in however his attachment to RR is his thing , and RR was a special charm in the show. I dont think its about strong or weak, he was just reacting to his fans on live and responding in kind. It was not Sikkus place to come and tell an actor how he should interact with fans. If he truly meant to encourage he could have done that privately. Coming to live and warn Sai not to have any sad fan interactions is not professional, its bullying on part of the producer. All these days when Sai connected with fans on lives or twitter to promote the show, Sikku was quite ok with it!.

Anyway...lets agree to disagree if you think differently. Sikku is not worth my time 👍🏼 discussing about him.

I don't think he even tagged the whole cast in the time slot change - He tagged only Kush.

And Kush, Sayali and the others are always separate on the sets - That itself tells there are camps going in the background. There is no smoke without fire.

Chalo once Let ignore.the bold part....but when u said ur FD ki if u not like the show u r free to use ur tv remote😡..is this the way to answering the fd

I didn't read much into it honestly. Hota toh bhi idk about sicku. He's irrelevant to me. I only care about saishi.

he had said the same things to Yeh hai mohabbatein fd too when it was on air. His attitude is nothing new for the people who know him and followed his shows over the years. He is an old horse in the industry and truth be told these things don't affect him anymore.

*incoming thesis alert*

I only saw bits of the live and basing my comments on that only so please excuse me for my partial ignorance:

Do I like Sickand personally? No, because he first ruined KHKT which I really used to like for its meta humor and originality, and then when he couldn't do what he wanted to with MHRW, he went on to royally ignore the show for the longest time before pulling the plug (it could be SP too but all the same for me), a show that I've loved more than anything in the recent years mostly because of its lead pair. I usually get hooked to the story first and then the leads but it was the opposite for me with this show. I'm struggling everyday, and was actually this close to an emotional breakdown the other day. SKR is upset. Shivi is upset. We are all upset. Looking at the offscreen content nowadays makes me extremely sad, and I blame both SP for its God-knows-what strategy to getting more TRPs and SS for not being strategic with this beautiful cast and show, and being obsessive over his own ideas of tadka.

Strictly professionally speaking, I think Sickand is doing what any other creative in his place might do (especially when they're no longer invested in their own projects). There is this solo interview of Shivangi where she talks about her arguments with Sai in the initial days. She said something like: "I would call Sandiip sir and tell him that this is not working etc etc, and Sandiip sir told me, don't come complaining to me after you've fought, I'm not your mother that you'll do that. Next time it happens, let me know when you're having creative differences so I can do something about it". I thought Sandiip's comments to SKR today were similar. Sai is right to feel upset. He and Shivangi have both breathed life into RaghVi and lived these characters since day 1. I can't imagine dealing with that pain. Yes, I'd've liked it more had he been sympathetic and not so blunt (he could've articulated the same thing differently to appear more considerate) but that's not who he is from what I understood. SS is not that parent who blows on your wounds when you get hurt, he is the parent who will scold you 10x more because you were not careful and got hurt. More importantly, this is his business at the end of the day and having been in the industry for so long, he's not going to be sad over a show (especially a show where he doesn't get to do what he wants lol). We don't know if he was sad when he/SP decided to end the show. I agree with what some of you're saying: maybe he also didn't like the idea that RaghVi became bigger than the show and his own ideas for it, unlike KHKT (RoNakshi were popular but nowhere close to RaghVi). Fans bashing him and harassing him on his SM handles made the case worse IMO. I never understand why people need to go out of their ways to comment to/dm/tag the person they're bashing. If the show is ending today, then these people are partly responsible for it. SS seems to have a good rapport with many of the other ITV actors like Karan and Deepika compared to SaiShi but I've seen that with other creatives too. EK has a different equation with Hiten-Gauri, Ram-Sakshi, GK is buddies with Barun-Sanaya. BW and ITV is filled with nepotism and personal bias and we can't do anything about that. SaiShi might not get the same treatment maybe because they're newcomers or for some other reason (this is just me making assumptions). I wish SS acknowledges SaiShi at least after the show ends because these two could really use all the exposure they can get.

Note: Please know that I'm not defending SS. I could never, after the stress and mental pain MHRW has caused me. I am still not over it and don't think I will be😆 I'm only trying to look at it with my feelings out of the way.

SKR trying to hold it together in the live is extremely painful. Man I wish they both get better projects right after this, preferably together (although very less likely to happen given ITV's history). Even if it's an EK show, I'd sit through that just to support them both. Which makes me wonder: how do you reach out to different creatives in regards to casting a pair in their projects? Is it even doable?

No offense to anyone who has different views on this🤗 At the end of the day, I assume we are all more or less sad about the show's untimely departure and we all want SP's shows to flop royally in the TRP race for an indefinite period of time😆

I too feel he was angry or miffed by the way Raghav and Pallavi took over the face of the show - I think he feels as if he being the producer, he should be bigger than everyone and how dare the fans give others importance rather than his creativity.

And to tell the truth his ignorance of SaiShi and their efforts have sealed the deal for me that I won't be watching any of his shows ever in future. Maybe I will watch once they go off-air but I will not watch when they air because I can't handle this guy's tantrums and mood swings.

Lol, in hindsight, I guess we should've let him carry on with his much cherished Mandar track. Yeah, it might've ruined the story for us a little, our eyes would've bled, and Pallavi would've received some more bashing than she already was at that point. Kar dete sab bhool bhool baad mein😳 At least SS would've been satisfied and maybe done right by the show after that.

@b: Sharada, I'm with you on this one. I don't think I can watch his shows even after they're over because they'll always remind me of SP and SS's unfair treatment of MHRW.

I agree with you Ru. I'm not sure whats happening tbh LOL. I saw bits of the live this morning (my time), saw some people saying SS commented.. and then I had to dip out.

If people are upset at SS - they can be for ending the show, but everyone needs to recognize that this is tv and ITV of all industries is extremely fast paced when it wants to be - they cut shows left and right all the time. They're cutting our favorite show now. They'll cut someone else's favorite show next month, so on and so forth. It's sad but what's done is done. Why is everyone dwelling so much on it ending? I don't find that's productive at all.

We don't like it as fans, but there's not much we can do about it. SP is not as lenient as Sony IMO that they will give another extension or bring the show back for a s2 - unless they revamp it all together like they did with IPKKND.

At the end of the day we, for whatever reason, were not able to bring up the TRP of the show. A business will not keep a product that is giving them losses - SS or SP. This is the one fact that we can't do anything about. We can't bring in the numbers, and that's just how it is. This isn't a cult channel or OTT platform.

IMO MHRW (loud) fans ruined the show for themselves - whether that's leaving the show mid track (m-track or now, e-track) or directly badgering the cast/crew for something that they should have no say in. Now if these same people are now begging for the show to continue.. well.. I just hope they learned their lesson. If the creator of the show is uninterested or has his sights on another project and feels burned by the audience of MHRW, what can you do to stop him? It's his money, it's his passion, it's his business, he can do whatever he wants.

As for SKR being upset, like.. obviously. He's worried that he'll be a one-hit wonder, he's worried about what other job he could get, etc. This the life of an actor. He knows this but the poor guy just wears his heart on his sleeve so obviously we're going to see it. Messages from fans also were a bit triggering as well. He's sad bc a job is ending, but sooner or later he'll move on to his next project, and then the next, and then the next one after that. Unless you're on an American soap or YRKKH, no way these ITV actors are playing the same character for an extensive period of time. I'm sure he'll get over this eventually, he has to, this is part of his industry. As he basically said himself, he's an actor and can't force the project to continue just because he really loves his role.

NGL there's a part of me that is a-ok with them doing a comeback mini-series, kind of like what Barun-Sanaya did for IPPKND (although better - that was basically a Barun show with Sanaya's cameo).

Maybe something set in the future, mostly comedy bc they're comedy is that good. I'd be up for watching that.
