I didn't like a single episode. I know you think differently.

Ren I watched last 2 episodes together. I kind of get what the creatives are trying to set here. First of all we hardly got any flashbacks during the Mandar track time. I couldn't take the obsession of Mandar for Pallavi and it was creepy with the Tum mere Ho title song. So I am glad the creatives have rectified this part here in Raghav's past story.

Second I liked how they closed the infertility issue and the alcohol dependence of Raghav also. In yesterday's episode when Pallavi finally confesses that she lied because she doesn't want Raghav to drink yet she gets him a drink seeing him tensed up - Raghav realizes that as long as he has his sweet wife with him he never will need to depend on anything and that is why Raghav throws away his whiskey. Not because he suddenly has gotten the idea that alcohol is bad or anything but to see that his wife is trying her level best to make him have a good life yet she is willing to get him a drink when he is down - He understands that with Pallavi he has gotten lucky. I was toh totally blown by this scene.

Even in today's episode when Raghav yells at Pallavi for a moment Pallavi is shocked and stunned but when Raghav realizes that he yelled at Pallavi he grabs her and hugs her - What Pallavi is for Raghav even Raghav can't explain. Just like Pallavi said Raghav is in my every fiber of her being Pallavi is similarly entrenched in every fiber of Raghav.

I wish there was some acknowledgment that he doesn't view E that way. Even the old E before they broke up.

The first statement implies that something caused her to not be anymore, but it's not irreversible. The second & third statements implies that she was the perfect partner for who he was then, but she doesn't fit into his life anymore, nor does he see her in that light anymore.

Idk. I have to analyze a lot of words at my work so I'm very particular about words used. So maybe I'm nitpicking too much here. Maybe its bc it seems like there's a misunderstanding between what happened to cause E to leave R, so if that misunderstanding is cleared, the hatred removed, is she now his perfect partner again? What about Pallavi? Is she not his perfect partner? Is he compromising with her?

That's why I didn't like the choice of words used. But again, I could just be nitpicking here.

Again even about the worst day dialogue- for me its the choice of words. I know he was talking in the context of his past, but you don't talk about your past in the vacuum of your past, you talk about it in hindsight. Saying that was the worst day of his life negates what happened to Pallavi and his experience as well bc that too is now part of his past.

I also would rather they shut the show down than me have to see R like this. It's leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Fria I won't take this dialogue so seriously. He used Tha twice so he was definitely talking in the past sense.

I am still miffed about the worse day of my life dialogue coz his family's deaths should have been that day.

Yes Pallavi after seeing the gift giving can try to move out or something especially if there is a fake child involved but Raghav is not going to let her go. I too want R to be clear in his stand and if Pallavi so much as says - I think you should get back with Esha, he should just take Pallavi to the room and show her what Pallavi means to Raghav.

Regarding PS dang the writers definitely are smoking something way stronger than our writers - No wonder the trps are at 2+ for past couple of weeks. Suddenly of all the people I feel Rishita the sanest and everyone is crack at some level - Dhara being the most idiot of all. Sigh, and Shiva is dilly dallying when he was the one who used to tell Dev to not lead Raavi on. That is full on murder of the characters. Okay I am going to be with MHRW only as I don't think Raghav is going to leave Pallavi for anything in the world.

Sharada I totally get that Raghav's stand is clear wrt her position in his life but there are some actions of his that need to be introspected.

As Fria pointed out, I don't see character growth. He says my family my sister my business (yesterday's episode) and P says humara right after. That's my issue. He still tries to keep her distant and as a separate entity.

She's taking a lot of his rude and shitty behaviour and being an emotional anchor for him all the time, I want to see her breakdown and him taking the lead.

In their relationship, she's the one holding on to it, he usually takes a flight response (though I know he's the one who will actually go mad if they separate).

Okay my 2 cents - I am going to fault the creatives of MHRW for shooting without the critical characters. That IMHO is the biggest reason some scenes are falling flat. Like if today's scene of R and K was done with R and Amma then it would have been so much different. And Amma could have told Raghav as to what he gained by having Pallavi in his life. I toh seriously couldn't take Keerti saying Pallavi is my friend now. Like seriously? After trying to get P and R divorce you are saying that now you have the best friends relation back between you ?

The creatives need to get the full cast back to shooting. Otherwise the scenes will not have the impact. And also a scene of Amrutha - Farhad, Nikhil - Amrutha or Aayi - Milind, that changes the whole atmosphere. At least get some scenes with Rama or other staff with Raghav. That would be nice too.

I am so glad that Sunny has zero presence - I just can't tolerate Kush on screen. I do feel the track might lead to Pallavi wanting to step back now that Isha is in the picture and then Raghav declaring that he will not let Pallavi go anywhere.

I get what you are saying - I would say they are keeping R and P true to their core characteristics. Raghav is mainly an action kind of guy, He does what he is expected to do and more. He is however not a person who weighs his actions deeply. Pallavi on the other hand is the mature person in the relationship but yes there will be a breaking point for her too and I hope this track is that breaking point. She is not going to hold on to the relationship if she feels there is a child involved in the whole thing.

All I can say is - the writer seems to be a heavy fan of Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus book. Trust me the way they write the conflicts I have a feeling they go and pick up a chapter from the book and frame it. I must have read this book more than couple of times so I know which track can be mapped to which chapter.

Yes P the ever sacrificial lamb will want to leave and go but R won't ever let that happen. I hope this is how it goes. I want this track to end asap. I could tolerate the mandar track and the idealogy track but this i cant take.

. But MHRW is multiple times better even in its worse episodes so I don't want to complain but they have made such high standards for themselves ki kya karu).

@bold: While I usually roll my eyes at these kinds of tracks - I do want to see Raghav fight for his relationship when Pallavi is around to see it. Idk i was reflecting back on the show. Although they gave R a good redemption track and the HYD scenes were great, it's so rare to actually see him fight for his relationship with P.

He fought for Pallavi but not necessarily for their relationship.

Yeah he fought off Mandar to save his marriage - but that was part ego mixed in there too - i.e "Pallavi is my wife now".

There's a large part of me that wants to see R convince P that he loves her. Idk I actually don't think we've seen a lot of that on the show. You all can correct me if I'm wrong. Tbh my memory of all the episodes isn't as great as everyone else's.

In PS all characters are butchered. Which was once a family drama has become a trp show and it has worked also but it lost the reputation it had made. I have lots to rant but this isn't the place. But MHRW is multiple times better even in its worse episodes so I don't want to complain but they have made such high standards for themselves ki kya karu).

Also, yes I'm missing all old characters etc. The Milind VD scene n other D family scenes literally feel so out of context. Kuch toh sensible dikhao. Lazy ass writers.

Agree with you - BTW can we discuss the episode here? I don't want the AT to get a warning.

I get your point about the men vs women behaviour and how they are true to their characters but evolution is missing. Their relationship is stagnant since quite sometime and they aren't growing as individuals or as a couple together.

I'm fairly certain that P will back out for the sake of the child but R would not let her leave. His life is P and he will never let her go.

Lets see kya hota hai.
