b: I was thinking about that mirchi-salan scene too--and my assumption is, it's easier to talk about the past when we know it's a chapter in our life we'd never have to open and revisit. It's harder to face it when it's standing in front of us, triggering everything we'd rather forget and when it can threaten our present that we've worked hard for. Telling Pallavi about that one random ex gf who had cheated on him is different than telling her about this Esha whom Pallavi has met and who's in such a close proximity (especially because Raghav doesn't know how Pallavi would react to her being back). Yeah that makes sense. He's definitely progressed from before.

And yes your point about how we're willing to open up about our lives when we think we never will have to deal with it - I think thats 100% the truth. I think his abandonment issues kicked in again and thats why he's not wanting to divulge all of it if he doesn't have to. Raghav operates like that a lot - he doesn't reveal or say things until he really has to. He thinks if he just gets rid of Esha this way, he won't have to open old wounds to Pallavi etc.

I must say makers are very biased. Mandar track has no flashbacks . We needed P and Ms flashback in that track also. Like how they met and the imp things. And now such cringy flashbacks for this track!.

No dear, things and relations doesn't work that easily,,just because he is with pallavi now that doesn't mean he got his closure.. its just that past thing went under the water knowingly or unknowingly and that's why he has kinda forget about it but presently she is standing infront of him, that thing which went under the water now has come on surface - clearly visible so obviously that pain, anger, betrayal, unanswerable questions etc everything has come with it..and until he gets all his answers, he and people close to him will suffer with this unsolved thing..

In simple words its like jo chiz tumhe bilkul pasand nahi hai use tumne bohot mehnat se kahi door chod diya hai ya chipa diya hai but all of sudden wo chiz tumhare saamne aa gai hai and you don't know how to deal with it..

About mandar and pallavi, what i think is they didn't share a romantic relationship and may be that's why makers didn't show us flashbacks plus pallavi said they met on matrimonial site and hardly met because of different places so how can they show flashbacks of such things.?

I think Anjali also said the same thing. Closure, betrayal and all cannot be forgotten easily. He hasn’t sorted all that out. His anger from past w.r..t family, then her betrayal all have been well utilised to push him to become the Angry Young Man that he is. And seeing her and from how much he knows her, he still doesn’t trust her and doesn’t want any involvement with her.
I don’t know whether I’m clear with my words - simple fact is that The Raghav Rao has been built in layers of anger, vengeance, loneliness, being misunderstood, being betrayed so even though he is definitely in a better place now, because he hasn’t sorted out with his past, he might continue to be affected by her ( I’m not saying her love or any of the good things but her presence might trouble him) There’s no question of his love and trust for Pallavi.
From what we can see, he has only held onto the anger and never shared it with anyone or got a chance to sort it out. If she was not in the scene then maybe he wouldn’t be so affected but because she has come in front of him, it troubles him more.

Kal ke ending se shuru karte hain because I loved how Pallavi voiced her right over the house and Raghav Rao. She standing in front of RR's photo face-to-face with Esha gave me the feel that no matter what happens she'll shield and side with him only❤️

That scene is the highlight of my week. That tiny introduction Pallavi gave said SO much and had such an impact uff. The creative team shot it so well too! With RR's photo as the backdrop, it's as if Pallavi, The Present, was standing between her Raghav and Esha, The Past.

Then her walking away when he told her to, even though she felt something was wrong, showed that she understands not to create a scene in front of everyone. She'll talk to him in their own private time, Understanding👏

Next one's my favourite! Raghav reminiscing his painful past and Pallavi's presence pulling him back into the present seemed symbolic to me. We have seen previously how she soothes him when he get panic attacks. She'll always be there to shield him from any kind of pain

Yeh to typical ITV serial ban jaana hain phir. Job, then plot twist-ex is evil, then plans to sabotage Raghvi and show ka satyanaash.

How casually Esha narrated their lovestory to Pallavi. Definitely not getting good vibes from her🤢

Uski chill vibes ne mujhe confuse kar diya hain. She seemed so torn and heartbroken abhi aise baat kar rahi hain as if yeh toh roz ka mamla hain😆

I’ve said this before, we usually see wives going out and doing all stunts and getting into OTs and fighting gunde to protect their partner. But here we have one strong lady who is the emotional protector of her husband. Very rare to see that. Although we wanted to see her being consoled for a change I still enjoy when she becomes Raghav’s strength. I love that after so many years he has someone that he can completely break down in front of and be himself.

But what is wrong with this man? Why can't he just say that SHE IS THAT EX-GIRLFRIEND JISKE WAJAH SE I USED TO HATE FEMALE POPULATION😡 Ajeeb suspense laga rakkha hain🤢 And because of the above mentioned reason, I wonder why he is not revealing. With Mandar track, one of the things I wanted to see was how Mandar made it look like an arranged setup even though he'd been stalking Pallavi since college days. It would've added intrigue to the storyline, shown how it should never be romanticized and also given us a glimpse of the Pallavi pre-Deshmukhs.
