Yep. I've watched enough American soaps to know that to show the mafia boss/ don as a lead, he needs to have some lines, or code of honor. That's the only way to really differentiate between the grey main lead and the villain.
Here, Raghav's line is/was really anything over the top like drugs, murder. He has no issues getting violent but I truly don't think he's ever taken someones life. At the end of the day, he's still his parent's son, and he still has that soft heart where I don't think anything besides a situation like this (his wife/love of his life is in danger) would prompt him to do something like this.
He evades the law when it's convenient for him for monetary or legal reasons.
@logic : I think it's not supposed to be logical. By Farhad's reaction, even Amma's reaction, it's clear that they don't think it's the right move.
In general, the showmakers do not need to show the "right," "logical," "smart," "ethical," decision all the time. Characters, even the leads, are allowed to be illogical bc they're supposed to be human. We're all illogical sometimes and give into our emotions most times. We're going to have "unethical" thoughts (i.e. Sulo + Swapnil ....lol it still cracks me up, sorry. 🤣) just like these characters. We're going to be dumb and impulsive because we're too overwhelmed in life's drama to think properly.
IDK, like I said, I've given up in trying to see the "logic" LOL. #hawameinfilter #bhoolbhool
