Originality vs Uniqueness [Gorintaku | MHRW]

Ever since I got to know that MHRW is actually a remake, I wanted to know the story of the original one. Last night, I found a thread on Twitter with the storyline of Gorintaku. It's as follows:

Episode 1 - 40: Revenge

Episode 41 - 72: ML in love & impresses FL

Episode 73 - 80: ML is guilty of making FL's cousin pregnant, agrees to marry but later truth is out

Episode 81 - 128: Aunt plots to delay engagement

Episode 129 - 157: ML proves that he did not kill FL's ex

Episode 158 - 190: Duplicate ex drama

Episode 191 - 220: Engagement done & broken

Episode 221 - 257: ML arrested for murder & released

Episode 258 - 271: Wedding

Episode 272 - 322: ML's family plots to get his wealth

Episode 323 - 360: FL reveals the truth

Episode 361 - 388: ML donates all his father's wealth to orphanage. ML's sister's marriage drama

Episode 389 - 409: FL's aunt gets someone killed & FL is jailed

Episode 410 - 415: FL is pregnant and given 14 years imprisonment, but reduced to 6 years because of good attitude

Episode 416 - 428: ML asks FL to give him the child but she refuses. ML never sees the FL ever since. FL is released from jail and stays alone with the child

Episode 429 - 444: ML meets a kid in school, not knowing that she's his daughter. Divorce drama.

Episode 445 - 446: THE END

Now, let's see what's different in MHRW....

1. ML married FL forcibly

2. Leads didn't love each other before marriage

3. Before the 150th episode, they were already married and in love

4. Ex is real

5. ML's family (i.e. Amma & Farhad) is supportive

6. Nikhil is MIA

7. Divorce drama is fake

....and the things which are similar to the original...

1. ML's sister's wedding drama

2. ML didn't kill the ex

3. Cousin's pregnancy drama i.e. Amruta's abortion drama

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall these happened in just 150 episodes!

Currently, the ex track is going on and as per the BTS, consummation is going to happen as well. With the sword of going off-air hanging over the show, I wonder how the consummation is going to fit in the on-going ex track. I just hope for the sake of TRPs they don't show Pallavi accidentally killing Mandar and going to jail for years where she gives birth like the original show🤢 Of course, a separation track will attract mainstream audience but it'll ruin the authenticity of MHRW. And, generally such young newbies like SaiShi don't play parents on their first show.

The original ran for 446 episodes, I really hope MHRW to run longer but without compromising the uniqueness (which is difficult given the TRP situation😭)

Oh my! The original seems so messed up on reading. Mhrw seems so streamlined and safe comparatively😆 may they continue with sane tracks. Original tracks are too extreme, ekta-like tracks. Scary to think any track from the original can be adapted.

Gorintaku seems like a typical serial whereas MHRW is way different in a good way.

the original looks typical serial but one thing which I wanted from original is instead of forced marriage .. it should have been a love marriage or love turned hate marriage… so that the efforts and attraction we saw in pre wedding episodes won’t get wasted… and married without love then she started loving him in 30 days is so out of place..earlier incidents also contributed to their love… moments when they were attracted to each other..but whatever it is .. I love MHRW storyline better.. ye jail jane wala sequence na ho bs… wo mje over the top lgta h..

and ML property drama well Raghav once said that earning money is his passion… passion khatam Raghav Rao Khatam… so I don’t want him to go bankrupt at any point.. I always like swag wala Raghav and his swag should remain intact..

I read in the OG Nikhil becomes greedy for money and BB kills him or is involved with his murder and frames Pallavi.

I really hope if Nkhil comes back they don't make him evil and kill him off. Shardha wouldn't cope with both her sons going bad 😭

I do hope before it ends we see Raghvi as parents to a little boy they name Arjun after RR little brother ☺️

Omg I totally forgot about Arjun! But yes that is what I had been thinking about when they first mentioned Arjun. I hope the CVs remember that detail!!

gorintaku was typical itv serial .see..if sikcand want run this show for two years then this p killing m and separation and giving birth can happen! But tabhi bhi trp nahi ayegi

In gorintaku raghu was gunda..normal middleclass man like mandar.(in yhm raman bhalla rescue ishita from jail and gave her different identity)

Raghav is hyd ka don powerful man!! This is the story of king and his queen

To socho raghu kya kya karega just to keep p safe??

If they show r killing p tab bhi p will do the same for R and wont let him in jail.

And don’t forget here raghav is hyd ka don. Do u think he will let pallavi be in jail??

If you see entire fandom was irritated with the separation and trp dropped down by 0.1..in current stage ye bohot bada loss hai.

Sikcand will loose many genuine viewers!

But what i wish is M will be killed by sharda or sanki buddha.

I hope sicku won’t ruin it by converting it into typical itv.

Without bringing this ghatiya separation twist also serial can run for long. But hamari janta sadist hai jisko ye ghatiya seperation kitchen politics pasand hai.

(My gut feeling says it will complete 200 episodes on 5th October and wrap up ho jayega.sikcand doesn’t want people to forget this story for ages so he wont bring gorintaku twist here.show off-air jayega ye fact hai isi liye wo live aya tha..jo bol ke gaya usme aadhi facts thi and adhi not..he just want to complete this beautiful story and does not want the show to be abruptly shut due to low trp’s)

Makes sense people ll remember mhrw for long long time..👍👍 it has broken many stereotypes.

I want sikku to do a show on ott platform with d same leads so that he can avoid trp Aunties drama🤗🤗🤗

For the first time i must say that i like SaiShi version more....

My god! So much drama in the original n so slow on top of that.... boringgggggggg😆

goritanku series is a typical ITV show with loads of drama while MHRW is something which is more of originality and less drama so I hope makers maintain it
