A convenient loophole?

Vijay Deshmukh ousting Pallavi from deshmukh household was a very important turn in the story... That set the basis for Raghav and Pallavi to be married and Pallavi never going back to Deshmukh household, and staying back with Raos. It has always played with my mind how a family can undergo drastic changes.... How Pallavi went from being Pallavi deshmukh to Pallavi Raghav Rao... Frankly I always felt the extreme estrangement of Pallavi from D family wasn't in fabric of the characters, but rather demand of the story/drama...But despite that she remains connected, at least she has two genuine connections there now... So I don't find it strange that much...Even Raghav has a relationship with Aai and Kaka... So Deshmukh household continues to play a role in their dynamics... However it keeps coming back to my mind, how it started...

So Vijay thinks that Raghav and Pallavi had an affair, Raghav was a bad person and she lied to him about the shop.. And he ousts her...His grudge on his assumptions was digestible from story's POV. When Raghav comes back to undo what he has done, to reconcile P with her family, he says that he lied, to which VD replies that them being married is the biggest proof of them having an affair prior to marriage and all that... To which Raghav doesn't reply anything to counter that fact...He just clarified that his allegations on Pallavi's character were false...but not the marriage part..I knew that it was a very convenient loophole to be kept open... So that VD keeps on harboring grudges for the sake of story to move forward.... Nobody not even Pallavi ever sincerely tried to address the basic of that misunderstanding after that... After a point VD is totally a selfish egoistic character beyond redemption and you don't even care about his eye opening moment.... After a time, you start believing that VD doesn't care about logics, he is eccentric and loves to spew venom on Raghav and Pallavi...Basically he even forgets humanity in his animosity against Raghav...His enmity against Raghav is established but I was never totally convinced with what his problem was wrt Pallavi..

So now his son Mandar comes, Pallavi and Raghav are the ones to bring him back, but Mandar persists on chanting Pallavi-Pallavi, and suddenly VD also wants Pallavi back in the house... How the hell did that happen?? Why would he want Pallavi for his son?? He doesn't think of Pallavi as a nice person...He thought she was characterless..Chalo theek hai maan liya Eccentric hai... Matlabi hai... Bete ki zid ko maan raha hai.. Raghav se problem hai...

But today something struck me. VD says she should come back because Raghav ne zabardasti usse shaadi ki... I was like, wow.... Ye kahaan se aaya... So you knew...So at that time he didn't know that fact very conveniently, and now he has knowledge of the same fact very conveniently once again... Wow CVs... Thank you mere dimaag ka bharta karne ke liye.. 🤣😆

P. S. This is a rant post kind of thing... Seriously nahin lene ka... I have learnt that we may try hard to make sense of it all, but hawa mein filter karna bhi kaam aata hai...So I will do that for this chameleon character..😆

Last time he wanted to bring Pallavi back to hurt Raghav because he started to realize Raghav's care towards Pallavi.

This time again it's not about his son its about getting even with Raghav. He wants to break Raghvi like BB 😆

Now he wants Pallavi back to make Raghvi's life miserable 🤔

I remember. But he didn't believe that or ignored that fact, maybe. I don't remember exactly. He continued to believe Pallavi sides with Raghav, and is very happy in that marriage.. After a point, she was, but not at that point...

Now he believes in that fact.

The thing with VD is he is very egomaniac and selfish. It is always for him "My way or highway" . It is the same VD who suspected Pallavi of having an affair with Raghav based on Sulochana's poisonous talk when he knew how vile Sulo is. He forbid Nikhil from searching Pallavi at night when he heard she has gone out with Raghav and that was not even the whole truth but something Nikhil's friend has just assumed. He threw her out in middle of the night in streets believing the BS lies Raghav said about Pallavi. Raghav when he tried to rectify his mistake and clear the matter by accepting he told lies and is responsible for Pallavi's defamation he said that the fact both of them were married is proof that they were having an affair when in reality his wife told him how Raghav blackmailed Pallavi to marry her. He did not care about Pallavi one bit and tried to take her back home forcefully but Pallavi stopped him because she understood that this not because VD is thinking about her but wants to hurt Raghav's ego. She understood that this vile person do not care about anyone else other than himself. Now that is son is back and is obsessing over Pallavi he wants to help her son to bring back Pallavi because he wants to be a good father in his son's eye and wants to prove his wife wrong . Also he wants to hurt Raghav. Now he remembers that Raghav forcefully married Pallavi but when his wife informed him the same after returning from hospital he conveniently ignored it and labelled Pallavi a characterless woman.

So , this is kind of expected from VD as he in reality is an egomaniac, selfish and vile person.

Yeah I think he knew the truth all along. He’s just that angry and has that much hatred for R. I’ve seen people do this in their old age (find a source of rage and go beserk about it). So to me it’s not surprising. Old men can be odd lol.

Exactly.

He always knew why Pallavi married Raghav but is just so egotistical that he refused to acknowledge that and continued to insult pallavi's intentions and later on insulting Raghav.

And now the fact that Raghav forcefully married pallavi helps him, he is acknowledging that to get his way.

Moreover he is egoistic who always wanted to show down Raghav which is why he wanted to take pallavi jisse ki woh Raghav ko neecha dikha sake during the necklace incident and now also he is partially supporting Mandar regarding pallavi matter to satisfy his ego and jisse ki woh Raghav ko neecha dikha sake.

There is no need to be surprised about this.

Right.. these so called loopholes are as you know , deliberately kept in the storyline to suit the narrative. Vijay Deshmukh ko grey banana tha so they conveniently didn't allow Raghav to divulge some important details in that scene. One that he had kidnapped Nikhil to blackmail her into marrying him and second that his mother wanted them to get married which Sharada knew.. As far as I can remember she had done her own 2 plus 2, when Nikhil got arrested.. If Sharada knew, Im guessing Milind also knew.. and eventhough Sharada and Vijay have been estranged as a couple for quite sometime..It is possible that she let him about all this eventhough he must have not believed her that time because of his ego..eccentric to hai hi.. As far as accepting Pallavi for his som goes, its got nothing to do with Mandhar's happiness.. he just wants to separate RaghVi to hurt them and he will say anything for that.. Same reason for which he had tried to force Pallavi to come back home after the necklace theft incident.. He wanted to hurt Raghav that time because he knew he had started to feel strongly for her..
