Exactly! He is an intense character. The intensity with which he loves his close ones was totally missing today. He would never do that, it was very juvenile. The more I say this, more I am going to realise it.

Even if (for some godforsaken reason) he wanted to pull this dumb prank on Pallavi, did he not think she'd tell Jaya and Kirti?

It's so out of character. It's insensitive as a prank to begin with, but even more with what this family has already suffered. His mother has lost a son before. His sister has lost a brother before. His wife has lost a husband before. He's extremely cognizant of all of their losses and pain and grief and trauma.

He values family and their happiness way too much to get cheap thrills out of something like this. No matter how I look at it, I'm just not able to buy it. Feels like a different character altogether.

TRP is completely unpredictable. Anything can lead to a rise or fall. As for stress about the show, I would much rather it end logically soon than drag meaninglessly, so I'm not worried about that. Well I guess we also can take it with pinch of salt....this is like phase 2 of Raghavi relationship..we seen both Pallu and Raghav be out of character before..right now the more drama they do the better for TRPs maybe....new tracks..hame thoda patience rakhna padega ....we can get logical conclusion only if show runs a good while.

Those early confrontation scenes had chemistry dripping... I don't see why we can't have that RR swag back in their interactions. He doesn't have to be mean with her but some of that attitude should have been retained. I just can't relate sometimes these days. .

Sorry to say this but the day they chose to have the jhadu scene, they messed with the dignity of the character. Comical Raghav is fine but he doesn't need silly tracks or scenes to bring that side out. He used to be funny without even trying.

Silly Raghav is even worse, God help us if they continue down this path. I get they wanted to show a softer side to him during the redemption track but they took it too far and now viewers can't take him that seriously anymore. Where is the gravitas that makes RR who he is?

This... you said it perfectly. It's not about his angry or don avatar. Raghav can still be funny or play pranks but there's a time and place for everything.

I could have taken him pretending to lose his memory in general, not remember his address or name, but to act like he remembered all else except Pallavi, especially after knowing how sensitive she would be to such a thing (rightly so)... ugh...
