Raghav fulfilled his promises he gave her during proposal from the first day of marriage itself. He is such a role model for other starplus MLs.

@bold: Shiva-Ravi was the pair that got me back to ITV but as you said,he's unnecessarily and overly violent with Ravi which was a huge turn off for me(Kanwar and Alice are amazing actors no doubt)Then Raghav-Pallavi pe nazaar padhi meri.

And initially I thought Raghav was just another Shiva-the alpha male and it didn't help that I started following the show during zabardasti waali shaadi. But his subsequent interactions with Pallavi surprised me. I'm glad they didn't just make him another AYM and gave more substance to his character.

You know, they do put these terrible disclaimers sometimes, but the threshold is insane. Aaditri and I were talking about IMMJ earlier, and I remember disclaimers only twice in all the abuse on that show- once, when the ML gave the FL a paralytic so that she couldn't go and do something he didn't want her to, and once when she was strung up on a noose. Does it have to be this bad to tell the audience 'hey, this isn't cool'. And then also, they scroll by so quickly, at the bottom of the screen, in fine print.

What you're suggesting would be so cool. When 'You' came out on Netflix, and Penn Badgeley was getting tons of love for the character, he used to point it out in every interview- DO NOT ROMANTICIZE THIS. I loved that.

There are lot of grown up women ( married with child) found those bullshit okay. That immj show was all about violence on female lead. In a male lead's revenge track, male lead apparently hung heroine up, locked her in a coffin & a car ( heroine was claustrophobic), then another lead of that show electrocuted her, there are lot of scene like these on that show. & fans along with write used to justify them.

For both male leads fans, criticizing character = criticizing their fab. On top of that writer used to jump in if anyone did criticize these characters. But I remember both male lead fans used to mock (sl*t shaming her actually) heroine because she had a boy friend before the marriage & they equates this to two timing. & that moron writer never actually tried to correct though he is 24/7 in twitter. most saddest part is that fandom finds that writer cool, witty.

Mandar villain nahi hota toh achcha hota par this is ITV. ML ka counterpart humesha villain hoga.

That's what na, you can't really change the minds of adults, but young audiences are impressionable.

IMMJ ka revenge track was hideous. I was so so pissed off. ML ne toh har hadd paar kar hi di thi, FL ki bhi self respect ghaas charne chali gayi thi? I hated everyone in that plot. But fandom took the cake in terms of most irrational thought process, "but uski aankhon mein pain tha while torturing her"

Excellent, pain ka achaar daalein?

I only watched the show for two months, but I think the show and it's fandom gave me BP issues for life.

And the writer's tweets...the less said, the better.
