Hey guys! This is my first ever post on IF. This OS is just how I wish the scene from the show actually turns out to be. So here it goes...

The rain kept fluctuating between drizzle and torrential. It was way past midnight when Raghav came home, all drenched in rainwater. He hated rain. The annoying pitter-patter sound and the constant gloominess are just few of the many reasons why he hated it. Assuming that Pallavi must have slept he grabbed a light snack from the kitchen and headed towards his....their bedroom. On his way upstairs he heard the faint sound of laughter and giggles from his Amma's room. He couldn't help but peek into her room. "Saree ka Dukaan, yeh kya kar raha hai tum?" He looked surprised as he saw both his Mother and wife and a half empty bottle of whiskey. "Raghav tum..." Pallavi stood up and tried to reason as if trying to not get judged by her husband.
"Pallavi, mujhe boht neend aa raha hai. Tum dono bhi jaa kar so jao" Amma spoke upon sensing the tension between them. "Ji Amma" Pallavi responded and left the room. Raghav was quick to follow her and said, " Vese mujhe nahi pata tha you drink also"
"Tumne kabhi pucha hi nahi, to maine bataya bhi nahi" Pallavi stopped and responded. Her head was dizzy now, the alcohol was acting upon her. She kept her hand on his chest to gather support to stand still. "Are you alright?" He enquired. She answered with a simple nod. "Tum kya baarish mein naach rahe the?" She asked while pointing at his wet clothes and laughed at her own stupid statement. "Woh toofan ki wajah se ghar ke bahar, tree gir gaya to chal ke aana pada" he made a bitter face. "Mujhe bhi baarish mein bheegna hai" she said.
"No, you will get sick. It's late, you're going straight to bed " Raghav ordered in a stern voice. Pallavi was clearly displeased by her buzzkill of a husband. Her arms travelled around his neck and she rested her head on his shoulder "Please!" She whispered in his ear. A chill ran through his spine as his hands involuntarily went around her waist having a brain of their own. He sighed onto the bare skin of her neck and gave in to his wife's demand. "Okay!"
Pallavi parted and looked at him enthusiastically "Let's go" she held his huge hand in hers and ran towards the garden, pulling him behind her. He looked at her in awe. She never failed to amaze him. He was sometimes surprised by how she found happiness in just the bare minimum. He was falling for her, he knew it. She made him vulnerable, an emotion he had never known before.
"Ahh!" She whimpered as she hit her foot on the fence around the garden. "Pallavi.." he said her name so softly yet with so much concern as his hands automatically embraced her foot which was hurt. "You should be more careful" he spoke angrily as he massaged the area which was now a little swollen due to the impact. 'Why is there a fence around the garden? How can a person even enter it?' He made a mental note to get it removed. "You are so careless, Pallavi" Raghav kept her foot on his bent knee to examine it more carefully as she held onto his shoulder for support. Pallavi bit her lip as if scared of his anger and looked up at the sky. She was now completely drenched in water and closed her eyes allowing her skin to feel the touch of the droplets falling on her.
Raghav saw her childishly smiling at him. "I want to go there !" She pointed towards the centre of the grassy area. He looked at where she was pointing at then looked back at her. Without giving any second thought he bent down and scooped her in his strong muscular arms. She placed her hand on his chest and felt his heart beating against the rib cage. Pallavi involuntarily tilted her face into the crook of his neck and it fitted like it belonged there. Raghav looked at her intently and she looked back, nobody turning their gaze away, all the while drenching in rain. He twirled her around joyously under the rain and she gave him a warm smile, at that point his heart literally made a backflip. "Let's go now?" Raghav asked. "Hmm" she replied and nuzzled into his neck.
Raghav gently placed her on the bed and wondered what he should do about her wet clothes. Clearly, she wasn't going to change them herself. "Pallavi?" He tapped on her cheek. "Yes Ghamandi Rao" She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer. "Change your clothes or else you will fall sick"
"Nahi mera mann nahi hai" She looked at his face. She had fallen in love with him long back, just unable to express it, the closest thing she had told him to 'I love you' was that he had become his priority now. Never had she imagined that she would care and love a person more than even her own family.
He pushed away a strand of wet hair from her face and leaned upon her, resting all his wait on his elbows. He couldn't help but gaze at her lips, those gorgeous, luscious lips. How he wished he could kiss her. How he wished he could tell her that he loved her.
She traced the side of his face with her forefinger as if mapping it. He was so perfect. She looked at him, looking at her. How she wished he would just kiss her because never in her senses would she be able to make the first move. How she wished she could tell him that she loved him.
All that came out of her mouth was a simple wish , "I wish it rains everyday, I wish I hit my foot everyday and you carry me so that we can stay like this forever " she said, followed by a chuckle. That earned her a smile from Raghav. "I wish" he said back.
"Sleep Pallavi" he caressed her face and kissed her forehead. "Lay down with me" She requested. He obliged and hugged her tightly as she snuggled into him more.
Guess rain isn't that bad after all.
