Guys. 1st Mandhar WAS NEVER DEAD. If you are just catching this show, his death was a mystery from beginning..they avoided flashbacks, pictures, and even had pallu taking trips to police station to find something out. He apparently just "never came home" and was assumed dead.

So enough of the "zombie" zinda kaar rahe hai. This was always on the cards

Now, im BEYOND excited for mandhar because this means SEVERAL THINGS.

1. Raghvi angsty separation track and growing love for eachother makes good tv imo 🤣

2. Protective and possessive raghav over pallu especially if mandhar is grey

3. He clearly is grey which while i wanted him positive it looks like he is entangled with Ved which means makko men fighting sequences ☺️

4. Mandhar casting is PERFECT. He clearly will hold weight against Raghav Rao.

5. While i wanted mandhar positive, i think having him grey is actually perfect. Here is why.

Raghav rao is a character that is EASILY misunderstood. Hes a guy that is GENUINLY good and because of some past incidents he has built himself as a rock and people fear him. But take it as face value, he is a GOOD MAN that people think is Bad.

Mandhar is a character that "died" as this epitome of a husband in pallavis eyes he was a GOOD MAN. He did so much for his family and theres so much respect around his name. But if he is grey, itll be a juxtoposition of a BAD/NEGATIVE man that people think is Good.

While i agree that raghav should not have to have a negative person for people to start accepting him, i think its important for peoples blinders to be removed. Particularly D clan.

Pallavi luckily has accepted raghav for who he is and is happy with him, so im happy that if mandhar comes, he isnt going to be the reason pallu chooses raghav.. if anything shell long for Raghav and probably be binded by family duty and fulfilling her "patni dharam" to her ex. Along the way also im sure shell realize how bad he is. But d clan itll be a rude awakening. Especially vijay deshmukh. Raghav will probably end up helping or saving that family from their glorified son, breaking vijay deshmukhs arrogance towards raghav.

Im personally excited to see raghvis equation. Raghav kept jokingly referring to ex husband. Playing him off as nothing. Measily. I want a weighted man to give serious takkar to raghav and let him shake in his boots a little over pallavi.

Anyways im EXCITED. Plenty of angst is coming, surely pallu will be confused at what to do. Im sure her heart will want raghav but her brain will think shes technically mandhars wife if he is still alive because she believes in justice and righteousness. Shell probably hate the idea of having to go back to d clan that she outcasted and they may also but out thorns for her returning also. She was seemingly loved and glorified as mandhars wife and now frowned upon as raghavs wife. So if she returns under the garb of mandhars wife, her equation in that family has changed totally.

But back to pallu, im sure her heart will want raghab but her brain will say mandu is my husband. So i want her to break that mentality a little and just choose her heart. Raghav will have strong villains and ill love to see how he conquers them through his intelligence and win/fight for his love. Ved on the business front and mandhar in the love front who are probably both going to work together or know eachother!

This is wonderfully written, and captures so much of the nuance around this situation! I agree with almost every point! (I'm still gonna call him a zombie though, because now neither ex-husband not late-husband fits, so this my working title for him :P)

I think there's something fishy wrt his 'death'- can't be a simple disappearance, because he appears to have truly, legitimately, and legally been assumed dead. My assumption right now is he staged it to look like he died while he was off doing shady business. If it was just a disappearance, it's fishy that the family has given up hope to the extent of actively seeking to remarry Pallavi after just 14 months- this would actually be illegal if he wasn't officially dead, right? I was under the impression that the investigation was around the circumstances of his death, and not whether or not he had indeed died. The timelines are what's confusing me so much, but challo, TV show, can move on from that easily.

I'm not fully sold on him being negative yet- in my heart, I still prefer a positive Mandaar, with the ultimate message being that even if Mandaar is the perfect guy, he's not the one Pallavi fell in love with. But I really loved reading the points you made here, and it would definitely make for some interesting tension.

Angst ke liye toh I'm always waiting with popcorn, toh bring it on!

Ready for these two to make me cry buckets, as long as the script does the characters justice. This news has made me a bit more optimistic about the promo though- in and off itself, the promo had me very bleh. I'm with you on being excited to see this play out!

Yes Rosh I'm ready for initial MUs woh toh 100 percent denge CVs. RR will also do something that Pallu might go to live with D Fam. Bahut confusion and nagar aane wala hai.

Bas jaisa woh kardete hai na they will change the characters completely woh na kare. Keep true to whatever they have shown. Don't make the serial extremely negative and monotonous.

This track can be handled really well. I just hope they don't overstretch it like QH did. After one point villians become unbearable on screen 🤢

Don't make Pallu or Raghav extra rude/insensitive/plain dumb suddenly.

Pallu and Raghav now have a good understanding. I want to see how that is played out.

As much as I want to see a possessive RR but not someone who is too insecure. It would be a good change to see RR as someone to handle it maturely as we have seen RR is very impulsive and takes a wrong desicion because of it.

I want RR to be secure and Pallu to make him feel secure.

I want their relationship to grow stronger. Some MUs are fine but it should lead to more trust.

Plus I know there will be fight and drama coming. But in the end I want Pallus to be the one to take a stand and realise Raghav's love.

I want to see the high esteem that she had kept for Mandaar to fall down and realise what a gem of a husband she has gotten in Raghav

Just a humble request to CVs don't spoil the characters!

I don't want that😆 she can respect mandar and still choose raghav over him coz she loves raghav not mandar. That's exactly why I wanted mandar to be a positive character. If she loses her respect for mandar for whatever reason .the decision will be basically be made for her that "since mandar is a bad I'm gonna go with raghav " I don't want that Not every single ex needs to be a bad person. But I'm sure they will show it like that only. Itv sucks in that regard

Anyways she was taunted and taken advantage of being a widow in the earlier episodes of the show!! Also she was independent and widows these days don't wear white sarees like old days they wear normal clothes and hell many of them remarry also!! But bringing mandar will change the narrative of the story completely!!

I like this also. Till now the guy has said his character is grey. Grey is not completely negative. So let's see how CVs play it out

I dont think thats true anymore

It would have been that way if pallavi still hated raghav. But she clearly has feelings for him. So shes going to be wanting to choose raghav even with mandhar back. Shell just not care for mandhar much anymore. Shell probably feel obligation towards him. The respect falling wont effect raghvi in the same way. Itll just be the icing on the cake imo.
