Raghav's love & attention deficiency

Today's episode, yet another lovely one. Their conversations are so natural, I am loving every bit of their interaction post Raghav's realization of his errors.

But today, this post is about one line that made my heart ache a bit. When Raghav learns about the tattoo and he gets so excited and happy that his name is there. "Mera naam bhi hai?" His expressions were from disbelief, to joy and excitement and when Amma says that it does not matter if his name is there or not, he goes back in his shell, sad and heartbroken.

He is craving for his Amma's love, you see it in these little things. The boy grew up without parents, his journey from 17 to 27 must have been one sad and tough journey. Without love, without affection and without anyone's care. No wonder he was what he was, can't blame anyone for being so rough if there is no love in their life. It's not an excuse obviously to misbehave but that's how life works in shaping people. Some do turn out completely different, but most people develop a hard exterior to protect their heart from further pain.

This was my favorite scene amongst other two (bowing of his head - I've just accepted that I love this scene and I don't know why, and their conversation).

Totally agree! Loved raghvi convo and loved raghavs longing that his mom included him. The smile pallu brought to his face today.. finally someones thinking of his happiness than constantly blaming him.

Exactly, as a family maybe they have a reason to judge him the way they do, but if amma said she’s giving him a chance then why be so brutal. That line got to hurt real bad. I’m sure he’s used to all that but for a change it felt nice to see that someone is there to take his feelings into consideration. Everyone assumes he doesn’t hurt, but who doesn’t hurt? Everyone does. These two are broken pieces of a puzzle that fit so well together.

This scene actually made me teary eyed when i heard him ask that like a small kid.

And of course that slight bow to her when she silently clapped for him has my heart. How do they get more adorable every episode. 🥺🥺

Pallavi and Raghav understand each other as they both crave for the love and attention of their respective families. There has always been the need to belong.. to be part of.. to receive that unconditional love.

Remember when Pallavi was sick and Amma asked (demanded) that Raghav takes care of Pallavi? There was also a line of Amma where she said something like "I was never able to forgive you, as when I look at you I can see that guilt in your eyes".

Amma should know better.. She does the same thing of which Raghav is constantly accused of which is to assume without knowing all the facts.

For example: Is it guilt of being directly guilty of a crime (reason for father and brother's death) or is it guilt for blaming oneself, knowing that indirectly you had a part in that great sadness, grief that was put upon the family.

That kitchen scene was heartbreaking. Kirti was being a selfish child and Amma a sourpuss.

Agree completely with you, amazing scenes. there were a couple of gems.

I also liked the way Pallavi was admiring Raghav when he spoke with such enthusiasm of the jewelry set for Kirti.

Also, I hope my Raghav will speak to Kirti and apologize soon. He was wrong.. He should not have slapped her.. I was disappointed when that happened.. powerless man hurt by his beloved sister.. her words cut deep into wounds which had not even healed yet.

Sorry for writing so much.. I am having withdrawals for not being much on forum. so I tend to put everything in one post 😆

Happy Tuesday to you all ❤️

in the scene, the hope and the shine through his eyes literally fade away. He didn't even get angry at the tattoo artist for misspelling his name--but was rather overjoyed that his Amma considered him worthy enough to get a tattoo of his name.

Nice post. That scene was really good. The eagerness with which he wanted to see his name and happy that his Amma had thought about him as well. He is indeed a child yearning for his mum’s love. From the time Pallavi has realised his loneliness, she has started doing small gestures to bring him happiness which is really sweet of her. She is also on a mission like Raghav to bring that smile on his face. Both unknowingly think and care of each other so much.

Raghav is such a layered character and I feel so bad when he's hurting. Or when Pallu is being so nice to everyone even after they've hurt her, including Raghav..she's so nice 🥺

Kirti should speak up and say what it is about Raghav that she doesn't like. Without discussions, these Rao's are not heading anywhere. All of them are so egoistic.

Amma is disappointing. She is neither against him nor with him, she is cold and warm at intervals which is very confusing.

And yes, Raghav should just say sorry to Kirti. I'd like to see more of their sibling bond. But Kirti seems to have lost her senses by loving Sunny.

I know right! His resigned state was heartbreaking. He feels so unworthy that a little gesture from them transports him to cloud 9, only to come crashing down in a span of seconds

I like how both of them are trying to reconcile the other with their family. It's because both of them have been lonely and unloved. I guess that's how their bond will get stronger.
