Part 3

Its wedding day of pallavi and mandar.

Pallavi is sitting in her room. Her friends is helping her to get ready. But she is lost in her thoughts.

P(in mind) - kya kya sapne dekhe the mene apni independent life ke. Abhi toh mujhe saree designing course bhi pura karna tha. Ek hi toh dream tha mera ye. Uske baad shaadi karni thi vo bhi ese insaan ke saath jo mujhe pura kare or jise mai pura karu. Par jo socha uska ulta hi ho raha hai. Pata hi nahi mandar kaise insaan honge. Naya ghar naye log nayi jimmedariya.....

Someone knocked the door-baarat aa gayi hai pallavi ko bula rahe hai.

Pallavi kept aside all her feelings and went downstairs.

Mandar and pallavi are now standing in front of each other abd mandar is fully drunk. Anyone can guess this by just his one glimpse.

Pallavi's whole world came upside down.

P(in mind) ek sharabi se shaadi. Nahi nahi muje mamaji se baat karni hogi.

She is about to speak but her uncle stopped her. Her aunt murmurs in her ears-chupchap shaadi kar aur yaha se jaa. Tera bojh hum nhi utha sakte ab. Jesa tera kismat me hai vesa hi pati mila hai. Adjust karna seekh jaaegi. Vese bhi ye koi badi baat toh hai nahi.

Pallavi with tearful eyes gets married to mandar and left for hyderabad.

M(in mind) wow kitni hot lag rahi hai ye mujhse toh control hi nahi hota. Vese bhi car mai srf hum do hi h kyu na kuch kiya jaaye. Aab kam se kam iske saath toh kuch karne ke pese nahi lagege.

Mandar started touching her inappropriately which makes her uncomfortable. She gets scared.

P-yehhh... Aap kya kar rahe haii.

M-ssshhhh.... Ab mai tumhara husband hu.tumpar haq hai mera. Vese bhi aaj raat toh tum mujhe rok paaogi nahi toh mene socha tumhe abhi se ready kardu.

She freezed.

She closed her eyes and mandar started touching her hand then waist then neck and he is about to kiss her just then he loose control of driving and their car gets crashed with a truck.

All blank

She opened her eyes only to find herself surrounding with females. One of them said-shaarda teri bahu ko hosh aa gaya. Ab hum kaam shuru karte hai.

The House is full of cries. Ladies removed her sindoor, removed her mangalstura and breaked her bangles. She is hell shocked.

Shaarda said-tumhara car ka accident ho gaya. Tum toh bach gayi par mera mandar khayi me gir gya. Teen din tak police dhundti rahi use par mila nahi. Police ne ye kehkar case close kar diya ki koi jaanwar kha gya hoga uski body (she started crying badly)

P-body(shocked)

One of the ladies said-are samjhta nahi kya. Kha gyi tu hamare mandar ko. Ab vidhwa hai tu vidhwa.

Anothe shock.

Her maternal relatives cuts all ties with her-

Her aunt-vidhwa hi sahi par ab tu iss ghar ki bahu hai. Tujhe yahi rehna hoga. Tujh jesi apshakuni ladki se hamara toh peecha choot gaya par ye log bichaare fas gye.

Another shock

Apshakuni?

Her father in law gets hospitalised after he suffered from cardiac arrest. Two days passed.

Her mother in law with suger coated words-dekho beta hamara beta toh chala gaya ab tu hi hamara beta hai. Tujhe rango se durr rehne ki jaroorat nahi hai. Tu yaha hamare saath hamare beti banke rahegi aajse. Mai smjh sakti hoon tujhpar kya beet ragi hai par fir bhi ek request hai.

Pallavi never received such treatment so she easily gets melted.

Haa boliye naa aai.

Tere baba ki sehat thik nahi hai. Kya tu hamara saree shop sambhalegi.

P(in mind) saree shop. Sayad saree design karne ka bhi moka mile. Chalo zindagi ki shuruaat naye sire se karte hai.

And she agreed.

Sharda (in mind) teri manhoosiyat ke vajah se pehle mera beta gaya aur ab mera pati bistar se uth nahi sakta. Toh tujhe yha free mai kyu rehne de. Ab kaam saara karwaugi tujhse.

Pallavi wholeheartedly started working at their saree shop. She tries every possible way to prosper it. Shop is under debt earlier but after she takes charge everything gets back to normal.

As time passes she gets to know more about mandar. His being a drunkard and womaniser. She is somewhere happy that she is saved from his evil intentions. But still she is not aware about true nature of her in laws so she devoted her life to them.
