Yaar, bas ho gaya ye sab ka! Jab se Deshmukhs Raghav ki life me aaye hain, Raghav ne itne thappad kha liye hain jitne uske pure bachpan me usne kabhi apne parents se nahi khae honge.

Thanks for addressing this matter. I have had enough of the slapping. It's getting out of hand. The only slap that I found within line was in the scene where Raghav maligned Pallavi's character. The scenes that bothered me the most were the following:

*While not a slap, Raghav raising his hand at Pallavi was uncalled for. Even though it ended with him pushing her, the look on her face was not good and it is not the face we want seen.

*Raghav Mom slapping him during the wedding reception. Really not wise move on the writer's part as she is slapping him before all his guests, some of who are business partners.

*Slapping your son-in-law; even if you don't like him, that just does not look good.

Slapping should be used judicially and yes, you are right it can promote a behavior that we don't want encouraged. Sometimes a look can be as effective.
