I agree with this.. the fact that the trps rose for this show when the drama was light and the leads interaction and banter were light and fun speaks a lot..

Its the leads chemistry and interaction that is a saviour for this show.. hopefully the makers realise this esp since the lion track sustained the trps..

but the writers have shot themselves in the foot with this negativity filled twist.. lets see how this one turns out..

If we go into rewind mode. Let's talk about YHM. Part of show was about tamil characters but the leads had a neutral accent with no vernacular effect. Siku has created a Hyderabadi Don but our audiences are typically Hindi speaking aunties. Majority of them are in urban and two tiers cities. Then are hindi speaking states like UP, MP where a lot subscribers are Sitaraji's fans.

In the first place to connect with Raghav is quite difficult, he is different no doubt. Females love him but sometimes the dialogue delivery is not easy to grasp. He does add a lot of English words to his Hyderabadi Hindi.. My current neighbour, poor thing is finding it very hard to understand him. She watches news these days.

When you bring in such characters, the story line and execution of tracks should be in place.

The female lead has to be very strong, Pallavi goes on oscillating.

The abortion track was make or break even for the makers. It was absolutely horrible. Today it Raghav spoilt his image beyond repair. He has become negative.

These aunts don't like grey personalities, they prefer rinse and repeat technology.

Covid is also taking centre stage especially in places like Maharashtra, Delhi and buildings are getting sealed. Mine is one of them. All of us waiting to get tested. So it's news on our plate these days.

A lot of things not in the show's favour actually

I hope the producers personally invest their grey cells in ramping up the numbers.
