Episode No 373 Monday 24/11/08

Ok folks , it is all about mad Anbu and his obsession about our
darling RKO captain Megs. He has the coin in his hand and wants to
toss - heads or tails , Megs is mine - He does a first toss and yes,
it is heads ...... he wins. Well, the maniac does not want to stop with
once - prefers best of 3 - so tosses once more and yessss...... it is heads
again. Well, what about the 3rd time??? Roja waits with bated breath -
he tosses the coin and does not have the guts to lift his palm -
kidaippalaaa, maattalaaa ... BG by Roja - maniac rants and bingo..
Samy enters. Anbu tells him about his success in tossing the coin - "this
is the third and final toss and I am scared to lift my palm" - Samy encourages
Anbu saying that it is by now confirmed that ammini is all Anbu's - a tug of
war ensues in lifting the palm and finally the palm does get lifted but....
about the coin??? no clue...... Anbu orders Samy to find out details about Diwa
from Megs. Samy promises to do it in a day or two but Anbu needs it
YESTERDAY!!!!!!

All about Neelima and Shyam. Neelima wonders as to how only she had
to run from the police man - Tilaga asks about bro and sis leaving together
but coming back separately. Neelima frets..... fumbles.... and her mobile rings.
Well, it is their master who says that both Neelima and master are now known to
the police. "Hand over every thing to Shyam and u leave. No more Madras for
u,ok?" Neelima packs and leaves. Tells Tilaga and paatti that she has to rush
back home for some urgent work. Paatti is clever - "why do u leave your bro
behind?" Neelima says that he has an interview and so has to stay. Neelima
leaves instructing Shyam to be careful.

Back to Megs and her office -Lunch time - Samy does a few "he he he"
to Megs and engages in a conversation. Warns about some one who has a
Ph.D in "pOttu kuduthal" and claims that Megs is intelligent - "mugathie ye
theriyuthu... enga Oor lr ennai ellarum buthi saali nnu solvaanga...." Megs
wonders about his Ooru - "enna, ellarum visually challenged in your Ooru??"
Finally samy asks about Diwa " he looked smart... summa .... therijukkalam nnu..."
Megs closes her lunch box angrily. Goes to Anbu and reports Samy " My sister's
hubby had come to see me... we talked about some family stuff...... Samy is nosy.....
very disturbing u see..." Anbu is relieved to know that Diwa is not his co contender...
calls Samy and warns him " how can u be so mannerless and ask personal
questions?? no more of that, ok?' Samy is stunned at the turn of events, apologizes to
Megs and Anbu. Megs wants to leave but it is now Anbu's turn to vazinjufy... asks her to sit
and offers his lunch.... Megs refuses and Anbu says that he cooked the food himself ..
" pls do taste" Megs takes a bite..... finds it to be a handiwork of an experienced chef
and exclaims " excellent Sir, epdi ivvalavu nalla samai kkiringa?" Anbu beams...
Samy gives a " if only looks could kill" look....

Episode No 374 Tuesday 25/11/08

We are in the prison folks - the warder who has an ax to grind with
Viswa plays up again - has a pin or hook stuck to his shoes and he
wants Viswa to remove it with his teeth. Viswa does some morachifying
and the warder condescends - "remove it some how" - sits with his
booted leg touching Viswa's nose - well almost - and Viswa tries to
pull it out. The hook refuses to budge and the warder does some
drio drio..... finally Viswa stares..... both get in to a fight...... a whole
load engages in " separate the duo" act. One prisoner draws Viswa
aside and tells him that this warder is all powerful and can retain
Viswa under abacus training all his life -"his report matters" - Viswa
frets and fumes - looks like he is all set to learn 1, 2, 3 all his life!!!!

Shyam is sitting - acts as if he is pensive. When asked says that he
is looking out for a room -" with out my akka Neelima.... me staying
here... che che..." Kirtana looks concerned ( pochu da!!!! love aa???)
Megs assures that he is most welcome to stay...Kirtana smiles...
Shyam has a sated look. Danda clan - as usual Pechi is talking about
some collection stuff - bingo...the inspector woman enters in full uniform.
Tams does a vazhinjaan act..... the whole family does "valaisal and nelisal"
Inspector calls Angu and Loosu -" ellam Ok thaane?? no problems? Do u
have my contact nos?" Angu recites her mobile and land line numbers
byheart - much to the chagrin of the rest of the family.

We are back to Kothai and QBS - QBS is getting ready for work -
Kothai is on to another of her pseudo feminist sermons - " u see,
an ordinary male who controls his wife openly is easier to deal with.
But men like Diwa who think that they are broad minded and would
let their wives do what they want to are the difficult ones - hypocrites,
these are..... u better divorce him..." QBS looks slightly shocked.... and
COD hears the whole conversation...... gets angry with Kothai for
interfering in his marital life - "who do u think u are ?? why do u
poison my wife's mind?" Kothai says that she just can not keep quiet
watching HELPLESS women like Sakthi..... QBS of course does not
chide Kothai... COD is angry....kicks a door, gets hurt and his toe starts
bleeding... QBS frets and goes to help but Kothai pulls her - "we can
go to work... he can take careof himself.. " QBS is still concerned....
COD drives her away.... QBS leaves.... COD is angry and hurting.....

Episode No 375 Wednesday 26/11/08

Tilaga clan discussing QBS - Kirtana has some wise cracks -
she claims that QBS is right in fighting every thing and every body.
Megs is on to a sermon about life and its intricacies - " eduthen
kavizhthen nnu seyya mudiyaathu, poruthu thaan poganum" Paatti
nods approval. Tilaga chides Kirtana for her immature talks which
peps up Kirtana some more - "amma kku adangi adangiye pazhakkam,
athan ipdi pesaraanga. If only amma were like QBS akka, she would not
be what she is today!!! need not have tolerated all the nonsense by appa
and athai..." Paatti nods approval for this as well (paatti ippo enna thaan
solla varringa??) Tilaga jumps at Kirtana and Paatti sides youmgest grand
daughter. Tilaga shuts up mommy and tells Kirtana that she better study
and mind her business " even with out your support QBS is doing great..
.keep off " Kirtana sulks. Megs pacifies mom saying that QBS can not be
made to see reason when she is angry " I will ask her to come here and
talk to her when she is sober, ok?" Tilaga is happy to pass the buck -
knowing that her parenting skills are zero, asks Megs to take over -
" u better make her see reason and I do not want to hear any more
of her nonsense" Megs nods and Paatti nods (???!!!!) as well. Intha
paatti thalai aattara thukku enna arthamO???

Anbu at work - mooning around (athu sari, enna office ithu???
dhanda sambalam ...!!) Samy comes with a cup of coffee and
decides to have fun. Anbu is only too glad to provide ammunition -
" I am not able to work!! Why did I allow megs when she asked for
permission?? I am lost with out her.... I have to always have her
near me......" Samy does his usual he he... Anbu has a great idea
Plans to make Megs in charge of the new project so that she can
always be near him. Samy applauds Anbu's brilliance but does not
forget to make a gentle reminder "ithu office, inge velaiyum seyyanum.."
(habbaaa some one does remember!!) Samy is dispensed unceremoniously
for this reminder - "coffee is cold, get me a new one"

Megs and Viswa - Looks likeit is some kind of Prison Day - the love birds
are standing on a terrace like place and cootchi cooing. The warder
(Kaasi is his name) is watching over. Megs is upset that Viswa has
lost weight -"ozhunga saapada maatingalaa??" Viswa says that prison
does not cater from 3 star hotels " when ever amma fed me with good
food, I have rejected....athaan ippo I am paying for my sins.." Kasi says
"Kozhuppu" and interferes every time Viswa or Megs says some thing.
Megs requests for some privacy but Kaasi says that it is his duty to watch
the prisoners -Indecent comments about privacy and the appearance of Megs
from kaasi - ( again Mr.Vikram, your language is obnoxious - decorum,
decency intha word ellam unga dictionary le illiyaa???) Well, it is again
fighting time - Viswa and Kaasi are all set to see each other one hand
and a group is ready to separate them. Finally a police officer comes
and shoo shoos both. Viswa complains about getting insulted and the
police man points out that prison is not some resort - "kolai pannittu
ulle vanthutte, ippo insult athu ithu nnu complaining?? No way brother.."
Viswa is again reminded about being patient by a fellow prisoner. Megs
begs him to be patient - "as it is I can not stand to be away from you for
4 years. Pls do not extend the abacus training for some more years..."
Bell rings... Viswa goes.... RKO captain has no company to do a RKO.

Tilaga is walking on the road. Muzhi and Kavi are coming that way.
Kavi wants to talk to athai but Muzhi does not endorse her idea.
However, Kavi goes to Tilaga, stops her and starts to apologize
-"athai, naanga senjathu thappu thaan.." Tilaga egirufies "yaar
athai? yaarukku?? pillai poochi mathiri irunthaan yen pillai....avanai
thoondi vittathu neethaane..." (Come on Tilaga... un pillai is a two
timing rascal.. rogue of the first order... don't u dare hold some girl
responsible for his cowardice...grrr) Kavi pleads.... Tilaga shouts....
Muzhi comes near and chides Kavitha -" naa thaan sonnene, avanga
kitte ellam pesathey nnu, kettiya?? Road le poravanga kitte ellam
thittu vaanga num nnu unakku thalai ezhutha?? vaa vaa" Pulls kavi
away and rides away....Tilaga is hurt.... seething.... standing in the
middle of the road...

Episode N0 376 Thursday 27/11/08

Anitha comes to Anbu's office. She comes to see Megs - "ozhunga
velai panraalaa??? lunch ellam sariya saapidaraalaa??' - Come on
Anitha, u do not have to play mother goose to RKO captain!!! - anyways,
she gets to evaluate Anbu. One of the employees has done a mistake
and Anbu egirufies right in front of the whole brood. As it is he looks
every inch a maniac and in anger, kekkave vendam. He raves and rants
and the poor boy at the receiving end has no chance to defend. Anitha
watches this in awe. After sami aadufying Anbu goes in and as usual it
is the saner Samy who drills some sense. " he made a mistake...fine ...
. but this is not the way to chide him..... Anbu per le mattum iruntha
pothathu..konjam nijathileyum venum" Anbu says that he was upset
.... "kozhappam.... enna pesarennu puriyalai..." ( still mooning over
Megs and granting her permission to leave early??) Finally he goes
out, apologizes to the employee. That boy is all jelly " u could have
called me in to your cabin and did this.." Anbu says that he shouted
in the open and so it is only right that he apologizes in the open.
Anitha sees this and Anbu's stock raises to sky high in her opinion.
She has a smile.... ( is she falling in love with this guy???)

We see athai after a long break. The land lady has come asking for
the rent and athai has no money - samalichufies pathetically!!! Kavi
and Sezhi enter.....Kavi goes to her room all angry and hurt...Athai gets
to know that they met Tilaga on the way and Sezhi tells her that Tilaga
insulted Kavi. Athai is all paasam towards Kavi - " unga aathaa
pollathanam koraiyave illiya? Kavi yai thitta ava yaaru???' Kavi comes
out and shouts at athai. "neenga summa irunga... enakku athai kovam
puriyuthu... I am not hurt by her words..." Now, this athai is livid -
" I am supporting you and u shout at me? Tilaga is able to accept
that Odukaali Sakthi but she cant accept u both?? And, when your
dad and mum came , u shouted at them but u say that u are not
upset by Tilaga's words??" Kavi says that her parents were money
minded but Tilaga's anger is out of paasam - " unga thambiyai keduthu
vaicha mathiri , do not spoil my Sezhi. My mom has told all about you....
keep off" Athai tries to threaten and stares - Kavi stares back - this girl
looks like a crow when she tries to stare...the typical one sided crow
stare!!!! Kavi goes in...athai shouts to Sezhi.... of course Muzhi has
"no comments"!!!!

Megs comes in after the prison visit. Tells paati about the rendezvous
worries about Viswa being in the prison "ellarum aalukku oru thappu
pannittu vanthu irukkanga..Viswa should not learn any new crimes..."
Paatti consoles that all will be fine and she plans to join thatha only
after seeing their wedding. Tilaga walks in..... both paati and Megs
think that she is unwell ..... "hospital...doctor..." Tilaga then talks about
her nadu theru conference with sonny boy and DIL. " your athai spoiled
her brother and now she has taken my son away from me as well"
Megs musters courage and says that though Sezhi and Kavi have
done a mistake, as elders they should give clemency and bring them
home - " her parents have disowned them....at least we must accept .."
Paatti does a neutral nod of the head ( intha nod kku pinnadi enna marmaO???
puriyave illai paatti!!) Tilaga raves now - " I went and fell at his feet, he did
not respect and today when kavi comes to talk to me, he comes behind
her and pulls her away??!!! calls me as Road le poravanga... I can never
forgive him" - Megs says that it is geetha who should forgive him
"otherwise his life won't be good!!" (athu sari, un kavalai ellam unnoda
uruppadatha thambi pathi thaan!!) Tilaga says that she is ashamed to
face Kanakku and geetha - I can not forgive Muzhi. If I die, I do not want
him to do my last rites" storms out of the arena.... Paatti and pethi are
stunned....

Episode No 377 Friday 28/11/08

Anitha is still sitting...... Anbu comes out to see the boy - the one who
got some royal shouting - tells him that the file was in Anbu's room - "pls
do not search for it" - finally sees Anitha and learns that she has come to
see Megs. Anbu is all jelly now. Learns that Anitha was made to wait
for more than half an hour - with out a drink - calls the other peon and
chides him for not being hospitable. Takes Anitha inside his room and
apologizes - " 1/2 mani neram aa wait panringa, bore adichithaa??" Anitha
says that she enjoyed the whole drama of Anbu shouting and later apologizing -
" I really like u. Such high ranked officials like u, normally do not apologize"
Anbu acts as if apologizing comes to him naturally. Just then RKO captain
enters. Sees Anitha and is surprised. "yenna yethanum mukkia maana
vishyamaa??" Anitha vanthaale yethanum problem koodave varumeee...
Well, nothing like that, Anitha just happened to be some where near and so
came to take Megs out if she were free. Anbu says that Megs is not free -
"pooja for the new site and Megs will be incharge of that project" Both
Anitha and Megs are happy to hear this. Anitha leaves and Anbu takes
Megs with him to the new site.

Samy is at the new site making all preps. Megs and Anbu arrive. Samy has
already prepared a mestry to ask a question. Mestry looks at Anbu and
Megs together and asks " yenna sir, kalyanam panninathu sollave illai.
Naanga ellam vanthiruppomee" Anbu is elated bur Megs looks uncomfortable.
After a few minutes, Anbu says that Megs is the one who is in charge of the
new project and works at his office. Apologizes to Megs and Megs smiles.
Tells the mestry that she can see that they all like their "ayya" very much.
"Get your ayya married soon." Samy interjects saying that they need her
co-operation for that. For a minute megs looks confused but later says that
she will assist as well. Anbu says that his marriage will not happen with
out her - "when I get married, u will be by my side" Megs says " my pleasure"
Well, the kuthu vilakku lighting happens - Samy makes sure to take some
snaps where Megs and Anbu stand closeby. Finally Anbu leaves with Megs
avoiding Samy who wants to ride back with them.

Anbu offers to treat Megs for a meal. First she declines but later agrees.
They go in and Anbu is excited about the "date" Wants to go in to the family
cabin but Megs prefers to sit outside. Well, Anitha is there and Megs is very
happy to see her. Anbu samalichufies saying that he is very happy to see
Anitha -" yaaranum yengalai lovers nnu ninaichitta??!!" Finally they all sit
to eat and order tomato soup. Anitha asks for Anbu's life history - " who
do u live with?" Then Anbu says that he lost his parents when he was
young - "my parents were in an accident. The guy who caused that
acciudent did not bother to save them. He could have saved but he ran
away. I lost my parents and from then on I have been alone...always..."
Both megs and Anitha feel bad and curse the fellow who ran away. Megs
says that such people should be punished heavily. Anitha endorses her ideas.
Anbu is happy to hear this - " I have always felt this anger towards that guy
and also wondert whether my anger is justified. But now, when u both feel
the same way, I am sated." Anitha now unfolds the life history of Megs -
"Megs also has always been alone. Grew up with her grandparents and
ran away from home at an young age because of her father's cruelty -
" ava appa Kalaiarasu irukkare,,, avar romba mosam sir..." Anbu is
shocked to hear that name..... visions of his captive...begging to be released..."
