But now if we don't see the restlessness*10, angst*10 or the desperation*10 for Meety from Ahlawat, we would find it fake and easy.. At this point, he isn't even able to give priority to himself over Manushi's thoughts.. He looks legit traumatized and in need of professional therapy!!

If it would have been Ahlawat hurting Meety by seeking revenge on Manushi, I would have defended him!! But here he is giving a bigger part of what legitimately belongs to Meety to Manushi.. All his tries aren't enough to convince us to wait for the progression that may or may not happen in future..

Absolutely! The way he is pining after her, and just so visibility yearning for her is making it unbearable. Watching this confuses us because how is he supposed to get out of this laughably passionate love? And yes the guy does look traumatised most of the times where it concerns Manushi and that troubles me all the more because it means she really has her claws deep down in his heart as well as his psyche which is usually harder to extract. Completely agree with the last part...dunno what to think about at this point now

Great post 👏

I was going to write this entire post on MA's feeling but sadly the draft got deleted. But that's my point and you did say it right.

What MA feels for MH needs more focus and the writers f-ed it up. Is there room for recovery? Yes. But their love is currently going through that daal chawal phase of comfort and understanding. Passion will follow ones they have established that rhythm. That's why they needed this vacation to grow and develop. The kind of love that you are talking about and I agree with you, will take a lot of efforts now from the writers side to convince us. We have seen the intensity for Manushi and MA needs to show atleast 10 times more for Meet to convince us and that's very hard now.

Oh God..you penned whole fandom's emotion and in a very beautiful way....I just loved this.

Yeah exactly thats what we all banging our heads on..

Thats what we are saying ki okay he fell in love with Manushi, okay he respects Meety for her character everything is fine.

But But what about meety,in all this mess where is she...where is her destiny of being loved madly...why why the hell she is tolerating all this and more importantly she doesn't deserves this.

Oh God I loved your post...its like an wholesome post.

You should write more.

Let me tag some more people.

Damn girl!!! THis is 🔥🔥🔥 Damn eloquent and proportionately descriptive❤️. As a romantic sap, I mostly find myself being able to finish only those novels and books that make me fall in love with the leads' passion inside and out... So yeah, you're right, even if Meet A does move on, it might look more like a rebound from a romantic perspective (though how the process of falling in love with Meet H and the aftermath is shown actually depends on the makers).

I guess they never thought of it from your pov...I guess they just wanted to show the reality of a man who'd managed to find love after rejecting 40 girls and also show what most other ITV shows fail to show, i.e., an organic process of moving on and finding happiness in a relationship that was apparently destined by the gods.

You know how the saying goes...one never values what they have until they lose it....or something along those lines...maybe that's their plan (you never know)...Maybe, Meet A himself doesn't realise the extent to which Meet H has infiltrated his life because he hasn't let himself move on from Manushi and her beauty, angry as this makes us....

I guess since its a family show, they wanna show the aftermath of a forced marriage rather than passion...which is frustrating but true. There was a dialogue by Meet A himself, though it was shown as a comical entry 'Love is blind...' I guess this applies to him now, more so than ever. Two weeks' love and his dreams of a future with Manushi has made him blind to Meet H's beauty.

As audience, there is only so much we can do so I guess we're gonna have to watch out for the process of MA allowing himself to fall in love..

I just hope there will be a track in which MA realises how much damage he has done to his and MH's relationship and how unfair it was for MH... On the side, I also hope MH gets a super hot, flirty guy friend later on lol...

@bold: this is cooking in back of my mind since quite sometime but I always thought its too early and unfair to Meet Ahlawat to think like that but honestly now I don’t care … so here what I always imagined ..

A super hot doctor childhood friend, top in his profession… in all aspect (be it height, looks and build or educational background) equal to Meet Ahlawat…(for some reason I always wanted him to be from London… comes to treat Tej, exclusively on request of Meet Hooda.. and since Manushi’s obsession has lead to Meet Hooda backing off… she introduces the family as Manushi’s would be in laws …. and the guy blesses their soul as he never really liked Manushi due to her selfishness and no quality whatsoever though all three of them practically grew together …. he considers Meet Hooda as family and only her not Manushi.. and his and Meet Hooda’s closeness affects Meet Ahlawat a lot …. (although while writing this down, it looks exactly like Angad Maan of Udaariyaan….)

Koi ye likh do bhai.. Ahlawat feeling legit helpless and not being able to hold on to his legally wedded wife!! We have been subjected to earth-shattering passion for Manushi, we deserve the same if not more for Meety as well.. IDC Meety isn't feeling bad for the way she is being treated, I am feeling bad for her..

welcome to the forum… and I hope to see more of you in EDT and other threads ..🤗 (if I am stay as an active member here .. chances are less though …😛)

coming to your post, I read it and loved it totally… yes we all have this fascination with fairy tales and picture perfect love stories or brooding handsome billionaire who fell for sweet innocent girl .. and quite powerless in front of her … the premise for all is same “the beauty and the beast” … the moral is same .. “love can move the toughest of mountains “ … well not here …

in Meet Universe, the guy is the damsel in distress… albeit a handsome one .. but he has all those soft issues which we relate to girls… scared of darkness or horror movies or ghosts… despite being tough on exterior.. he is too soft hearted and quite fragile from inside…

the girl however has faced enough hardships that she is forged to be tough in whatever she does.. what she lacks in physical strength, she makes it up in terms of intellect….

these two are pieces of a puzzle that fits together perfectly … as you mentioned, its not exactly how it is portrayed in those romantic novels and that’s what unique about the show…

now coming to the third wheel, and his obsession… I don’t know what to write about that… I am already pissed seeing their scenes which basically looks like as if they are lovers who are entangled in lovers’ squabble … I don’t know whom to blame for it as they look more in love and angsty than the main couple of the show… may be that’s how writers envisioned it at this point… but I am not interested to watch that…

I don’t know what I blabbered on… but yeah yours is a beautiful post… 😳
