Geet decides to karseva till Kulwant returns back. Kulwant escapes from the terrorists. Geet faints & Gyaniji is informed that by the army officers that Kulwant has escaped is safe but is hospitalized. Mandira calls Gyaniji and asks him to reach Jammu since Kulwant is critical & has been asking for his father ever since, but just when he is about to leave, Channi arrives and starts taunting Gyaniji that he had promised to get Geet married in 2 days. Subedar asks Gyaniji to ignore Channi & proceed to meet Kulwant. Channi poisons the Panchayat's mind against Gyaniji's promise & they arrive at Subedar's haveli alleging that Gyaniji has not lived upto his promise. But just then Gyaniji comes out with the dhol and kirpaan informs them that Geet will marry Kulwant's kirpaan. Everyone is shocked.
