It is a competition... and contestants are judged based on the dish they make in that particular round and not based on their performance throughout the series. That is how the rules are. And in such situations, one small mistake can turn the tables at any moment for anyone... sad that it had to be Koku for this round... and that too this early in the competition...

Do agree with judges decision. That was not khuko's day. This is competition .
Totally agree with u Stephy.

The competition was fair,Khoku's dish was poor.I wanted her 2 stay but this time fortune didn't help her at all.

tats the prob i ve with the master chef fmt both indian & the international editions. ideally i feel points must b given for each dish so that at the end of the week the bottom 3 folks fight it out.

many times i ve noticed good cooks ve 1 bad day & they get eliminated irrespective of their consistent performance so far 😕

I am not against dis decision...but wat if all good cooks geting eliminated becoz of deir bad perfomance and average cook like navneet reach finals 🤢

she really knows how to balance flavors, but i guess it was a bad day for her
firstly she could not guess any tangy ingredient
then balancing of sweet and spice (as she did not had any tangy thing)
and lastly high amount of salt in her chutney
it was really heart wrenching to see her leaving

why i say it was unfair decision is because no one will prefer to eat a uncooked dish over a sweet dish or less flavored dish !!!!
at least i will not ... may be, some may prefer uncooked one ... 😉

just my pov ... nothing against other contestants or anyone

Completely agree! There was burnt dishes yday and they stayed and koku left? One judge said both her chutney and dish will be spicy so she needs to make it sour. Then other judge said her dishes were sweet!!!! What nonsense was this? Atleast get a in sync script and good director if you need to send her out! They were showing badly burnt dishes and the competitors staying and she was sent out! It was totally sad and rigged! The show this season has totally lost its credibility in my eyes! Don't think I shall be watching it anymore!
Commend Koku for striving to be something despite not having education and desiring to come up in life! Truly salute her spirit!

@swap-arhi ... completely agree with what you said...
this show is not just scripted, it's badly scripted and flaws are evident way too much. and it's not just on khoku's elimination, it has been there for long but now it's crossing limits...
but they can't fool all the audience .. i am afraid they must have already decided the winner and already decide eliminations. its not a fair cooking competition.
i don't know if MC could be better if it moves on to some other GEC from SP ...

After yesterday's episode,I agree it's scripted.Khoku did not deserve to be eliminated.
The show has been made more like a daily soap with happy, sad, crying, laughing, surprised, shocked expressions from every one with matching music and sound effects👎🏼
