Court restrains Star India''s cookery shows

Gurgaon, Dec 24 (IANS) A district court here Saturday restrained Star India Pvt Ltd from exhibiting and telecasting shows under the trademark ''Master Chef India 2'' on Star Plus, and ''Master Chef Australia'' and ''Master Chef USA'' on Star World channel

Gurgaon, Dec 24 (IANS) A district court here Saturday restrained Star India Pvt Ltd from exhibiting and telecasting shows under the trademark 'Master Chef India 2' on Star Plus, and 'Master Chef Australia' and 'Master Chef USA' on Star World channel till further orders.

The stay was granted on the suit filed by Wings Entertainment Ltd.

Pankaj Yadav, advocate for Wings Entertainment, said that stay was granted by the Additional District Judge Vimal Kumar after the company argued that these shows were using the trademark 'Master Chef' (Device) and 'Master Chef Series' which was registered by it

The court also ordered that Star India Pvt Ltd. would also prepare an inventory of documents related to details of infringement of trademark of the petitioner.

No one from the Star TV group was available for comments.

Anyways, I think its better to wait until tomorrow and watch the actual show because all these articles and speculations seems to be a rumor..There is another article posted by another member that Shipra has apparently won MC2..I am not believing either of these and would now wait and watch

@hamzanuha: Yes it was your post and I too read the IF article dear..But it was removed within an hour or so..Anyways, my only saying to you and everyone is that why are we arguing over something that is not going to give us any profit personally..We are at a no profit no loss zone because who so ever won it doesn't know us is not not going to give us anything for supporting them..Its NEW YEAR yaar chill and have fun and welcome 2012 with a smile..Nobody is calling you a liar..We all watch the show for entertainment and fun please don't take it seriously...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

P.S I personally feel I am at no profit no loss zone so actually I don't care who ever wins..Good for the winner Lets see what happens tomorrow in the show rather than speculating and arguing over it...:):):):)
