Maryada Lekin Kab Tak on Star Plus is one of the few show on Indian television which is doing well despite having a late evening (11 PM). A large share of the credit for the success of the show goes to Viswajeet Pradhan – the man who who plays the role of the fiery SSP Brahmanand Jhakar. So what is the secret of his success? After all, not many shows can boast of high TRPs with a 11 PM slot. "I feel the time slot is perfect for the kind of show Maryada Lekin Kab Tak is. We have a large and loyal viewership which is increasing daily. And perhaps, one of the reasons is the late evening slot when everyone is relaxed after a hard day's work". Pradhan goes on to explain further, "A daily soap is just like a 20-20 cricket match where you have to score maximum runs in a short span of time. You need a specialist to do that." And who is that specialist in Maryada Lekin Kab Tak? Pradhan smiles and evades a direct reply to the question. But we all know the answer, don't we?
