I find it a little strange that whilst on holiday from work Chinu is staying at his sisters house instead of his own home. What's even more strange is that the poor dads on his own. I mean obviously he has to be on his own when chinu is working but it's just a little odd that the fathers being ignored altogether.

The writers have been conveniently ignoring Mr. Pradhan's existence for months now.Even if the original actor was not available, I do not know why he was not replaced given how integral the character is to the story.

Given what is going on in Priya's and Chinu's lives...why is their Dad's role not important? For e.g. when Priya went through all the mind games with Brahma, not once was she shown thinking about her Dad. Last he was seen on screen was in their hometown settling matters when Brahma had threatened Priya with harm befalling her Dad. Then the writers just stopped mentioning the character. Considering how close the family was shown to be, his absence is glaring. I get the actor may have left the show or something like that but the character of Mr. Pradhan was integral to the lives of Priya & Chinu.

Jaya ... i agree with what you wrote. The Pradhans were from the beginning a very close knit family. With Chinu and his dad being very protective of Priya. They were a normal family. Even the bua who was irriitating at times was fun.
He will be needed in the storylines. What will his reaction be when he finds out his son is in love with an older married woman and when he finds out his daughters father in law is none other than the man who tried to rape her.
At least he should be shown talking to his children on the phone and mentioned now and again what he is doing and where he is.

Chinu is a character I just don't understand. I am not able to identify him with the brother who was with his sister all the time when she was in trauma after getting molested, who was thrown out of college and wanted very much to become a doc i think (it seems such a long time back that I may have forgotten).

Now he is in love with a girl - who is married to another guy who happens to be his sister's brother-in-law and whose father in law is the guy who made them run from door to door in the first place.

He doesn't seem to want to go back to the army and is willing to stay back here in the house doing nothing just to give moral support and secure his place. Once the place is secured, then if they are hounded again, then will he think of going back to the army i wonder 😆 At that point in time he will need his dad i guess...

Let us wait and watch...
