Thats becuase cheenu only sees Vidya's plight not Gaurav's.

He irritated me too a bit today whenhe just wouldn't leave Gaurav alone.

Yes Chinu is skinny and that moustache, ugh! But even if they don't have much chemistry or he isn't that special, isn't he better than her gay husband???
