i think he looked at her as if he's attracted towards her..

the Jhaakars' are pretty much open minded. The family had no problem when Adi fell in love with a complete stranger and were ready to get them married. SSP too had no problem until he came to know the girl was the same1 he molested on the train sometime back. IF a family knowing Priya's past (devyani / Adi) can accept her as their DIL then i don't think it wud be very different for Gaurav.
Having said that, Adi is the fav boy so things are always easy for him unlike Gaurav who is excepted to meet the family expectations.
I believe marrying widow or older woman shd not be a problem. It might be she is a prostitute or already married.
SSP was very open minded when he wanted Uttara to lead a normal life forgetting her dreadful past. He meant no harm before the Holi incident.
I don't think the makers have any plan to showing him gay.
whatever the truth may be, I want the makers to keep the previous details shown in mind before progressing Gaurav - Vidya's story. (the suicide, Devyani saying marrying the person wud bring shame to their family, the reason why SSP was against it, why Gaurav had to marry a Vidya (village type girl with no proper education) when he could have married any educated girl from the city!
just my 2 cents
cheers

@Kai: They did agree for the Adi-Priya wedding...but that was because their families had met one another in Mansa devi...I don't think it's only because Aditya's a favourite. And the SSP agreed to Priya's marriage with Aditya because he knew the truth...I wonder how he would react if it was some other girl...the fact is...he wouldn't have agreed and would've found some other way.
I agree with you...they should stay consistent with the old story...of how his friend attempted suicide...didn't want him to sleep with Vidya...and how Devyani told Gaurav that if he had married his love...no one else could've married in the family.

wht i meant to say was unlike most conservative families, Jhaakars didn't mind Adi wanting to marry a girl she just met 2 - 3 times on the Mansa Devi trip. Devyani did like the family and this was one of the reasons she supported Adi.
I do believe SSP only agreed after knowing the girl was Priya because he didn't wanted to lose his son. (i might be wrong here as i stopped watching Maryada in between so not very sure abt the details)
However, i believe that Adi being the fav boy did have some impact in the family esp SSP is agreeing to their union.
Gaurav - Vidya's story has a lot of potential i wonder why Gaurav is hardly given any screen space!! AdiYa was interesting pre - marriage. There is nothing much to be shown besides SSP trying to create problems b/w them and Priya wanting to expose SSP infront of Adi and the family.
