Another good episode from the Maryaada team! 👍🏼

Today started with Mrs. Bindra asking Priya to freshen up for the Bidaai. Observing Priya leave Aditya's side, SasurPig quickly used the opportunity to bless Aditya! I must say Aditya was entertaining to watch...the wedding is barely over and he is already wanting to accompany Priya to "freshen up" and talking about the Suhaag Raat... 😆. Like it or not, I have to admire how "in character" he always seems to be in the screenplay with his excitement and single-track mind. 😆

As Rishabh accompanied a departing Rastogi outside, Uttara follows and overhears Rastogi remind Rishabh not to delay fulfilling his end of the deal any longer. Unable to contain her feelings anymore, Uttara confronted Rishabh. What a spectacular scene! Quite simply...I loved it! 👍🏼 ⭐️ It was poignant to see Uttara move through all the emotions from angry direct questioning to regretfully asking Rishabh to hit her for doubting him and finally start sinking as the realization of Rishabh's unthinkable expectations hit her! Even though his sordid dealings stared her in the face, Uttara's shocked hysterical assertion that Rishabh could beat her to within an inch of her life but was not capable of betraying her like this was powerful to watch! In turn, Rishabh's slap, explanation and defense of his actions were perfectly in character with the slimy, manipulative abuser that he has been sketched as from the onset of the show. Unable to reason with Rishabh, Uttara firmly states she would not do what he was demanding of her just as they hear Brahmanand come out towards them.

Uttara's state does not go unnoticed by Brahma but his questioning of Rishabh gets cut short by the start of Priya's Bidaai! Some how, the Bidaai felt hollow for me. Yes it had the requisite tears but I did not find the screenplay for this sequence anything out of the ordinary. I also found the transition from the scene of Brahma being interrupted outside the guest house to the Bidaai itself abrupt and screenplay convenient...even with the advertisement break in between! I did however find the moment between Mr. Pradhan and Chinu at the end touching!

Back at the Jhaakar house, Devyani tries to get SasurPig to join the wedding rituals that are still pending but he angrily refuses and asks not be disturbed. Although this scene was alright, Devyani's characterization did not work for me. I do not like her character continuing to simply accept and think that Brahmanand's objections and anger have to do with his concern about the impact of Priya's past on their family. If that were the real reason, at some point the joy of his favorite son's marriage would have over-ridden all of Brahma's stated misgivings about Priya. But the fact that Devyani is at the receiving end of SasurPig's extreme reactions about the wedding, from her character's perspective, she should wonder what the real truth is.

As Priya and the rest of the wedding party arrive, Devyani receives them with the traditional thali. Priya's loving looks at Aditya as she entered the Jhaakar house contrasted beautifully with Vidya's sad ones at Gaurav, Devyani's lonely glances at her bedroom and Uttara's disappointed stares at Rishabh!

Overall: Good episode. Its a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ (4) from me today! The Uttara - Rishabh confrontation was the scene of the day and Kamya just rocked in the acting department. 👏

Manal- Is there a show tomorrow? 😕 I saw the sbb segment and I'm clueless too as to why was Vidya sobbing. 😲

can't believe the wedding got over in just one episode........*phew*, first time in tellywood...😆
and my cute adi, mein bhe chalta hoon😆 priya ko fresh hone bhe akela nahe dega😛*how naughty*
and uttara really rocked..... hate that brahmanan came in middle of convo..... har jaga tang arata hai apne....😡
one more thing, why did priya change her outfit.. the first was better!!! pink wasn't very good😕
can't wait for the maha episode... and i'm so sad coz the suhagraat won't happen...this is so bad😭

overall a 5/5 for me, their was no issues at all through out the episode...but precap is scary...! gonna ruin my armaan's..😭
