star Plus' Maryada shifts to the afternoon band

For all Maryada fans there is news that they will have to make a note of. Their favourite show which started off in the 11.30pm slot will now be seen in a new time slot. The show is getting shifted to the afternoon band at 2.30.

A source reveals," The show had its repeats at 2.30 and this fetched better TRP's than the original telecast. This is quite strange since the show has a bold theme and is meant for an adult audience. But going by the ratings the channel has decided to shift the show in the afternoon slot. It is also buzzed that the channel is planning to revamp the afternoon slot. New shows can be expected in some time."

We tried calling Tony and Deeya Singh but they were busy. Kamya Punjabi who plays Uttara seemed clueless about the latest development. We also tried contacting Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content Strategy Star Plus but he remained unavailable for comment.
