Because their main theme is old-age madhe companionship. Aajoba is equally lonely.

Addition of 2 characters and that pradnya is too annoying. Shubhra gave her solid warning and good to see change in serial heroine. No more goody goody business. Though asawari is shown like that shubhra will be there to protect her.

@Bold, That is a standard format where Ajoba's suun is shown to be a gem whereas his friends's suun is the other extreme in comparison. I doubt she will have a big role to play. Maybe she will have some episodes after Abhijeet comes to stay there.

@Red, Good to see the heroine is willing to take on neighbours and other family members when she does not think they are right. But she is taking different approaches. With Ajoba she is cajoling type. With her husband she is disapproving by dialogues and expression but with that neighbour's DIL she is outright aggressive.

Today Aasavari's dialogue, something like काही गोष्टी बोलून दाखवायची गरज नसते त्यापेक्षा त्या धरून ठेवायची गरज नसते..👏

Pradnya is too much! In previous episodes I felt Aajoba bit loud, but today for Pradnya, he was just perfect.

Shubhra- Aasavari bonding is so sweet and unusual to the tele world. बाकी, सोम्या म्हणजे... बायकोच पाणी पाजणार बेंबट्याला 😉!

Even Aajoba , at his age also needs companion ! If Zee shows that , they will have done a good service for very senior citizens .

Once a famous channel with famous cast breaks some social limit , society is more ready to accept it .

Agree that it will be novel if Ajoba, at his age, also gets a companion. But that nosy neighbor is shown to be a bit too much of a frivolous type. If they tone down her character a bit then that could also be an interesting thread. It will require a waghin to tame that Ajoba.

Since we r talking about the companionship of senior citizens, it reminds of the sweet aji in the movie chi and chi kan. She was such a sweet , lively and bubbly aji...and the character was not annoying at all..has anyone watched that movie??..here we need that type of aji...if at all they plan to show one...

Here ajoba is ragit that's ok for me, but why it has to be always that way? I don't like that part...even the rageet person can be sweet at times, but this ajoba is hopeless...coz he is way too selfish

Ajoba is shown selfish by habit (seems he was pampered by his suun all these years) however he is finally seen accepting the inevitable without too much of a tantrum on all occasions.
