So I guess this role is purely on merit of Junior patkie. He is required to do a subdued role in aggabai serial which he is doing. Let's not forget he is a beginner and will take few more years or at least some months to become seasoned.

I have heard from another source that he is egoistic and does not pass on credit where due. He takes full credit for himself. Don't know which is correct.

that's again a separate topic. I think like other newcomers Jr. Patkie has earned the role on his own merit- whatever merit as perceived by casting director. Father being a musician doesn't help son to become hero in someone else's film.

there will be plenty of such contacts. No one will put crores on a movie which has newcomer as a hero just because he is music director's son. Acting and music direction - Two fields are separate. May be some one would have given a chance in singing. The casting direction department has come up fast in last 4-5 years in Indian movie business.

That could be the very reason why he has not been given a prominent role in the serial where we have heavyweights like GO, NS and TP in the limelight. He could have got the role through dad's contacts but he will have to prove himself before he can get more prominent roles. So far he is doing OK but nothing outstanding. Waiting to see if he has got a prominent role in the movie and how he shines in it.

Khupach niragas episode hota. Go is fine, but I've started to like Nivedita Saraf a lot. I hadn't seen much of her earlier work. Only award shows and likes.
