In a TV serial , where there is a captive viewership , the producer has to make story interesting to the channel executives . Once the contract has been signed , all the producer does is to get maximum work in minimum costs. 😛
If the TRP fails, it is the channel executives who start getting headaches & they start giving new inputs . Producer agrees as long as he/she does not have to spend any more money !
Viewers like us can only hope that story will get interesting some time.
@Charu, absolutely, I know for sure that sometimes these channels make writers do some weird tracks just to get Trps, hopefully it won't happen here, hopefully they do have a good interesting story, I have a friend working in the industry as a dialog writer and she always says sometimes they have to compromise because of the pressure, so let's hope the original story is really good that they do not have to do any compromise. 👍🏼
