Ata Gauri says to Shiv ki tuch saglya decisions ghettos. When she was single, each decision Baba took, even the most unfair decisions of his, she accepted as she was sure that Baba will do his best for her and she loves him. Now despite Shiv doing everything, fighting the world for her, she has suddenly realized that she can take decisions on her own.
Where was this spine when it was Baba who was dominating her. Shiv has NEVER dominated her and always understood her even when her own beloved Baba was not understanding her and was blinded by his bigoted thinking about 'paraprantiya'. So blind that he could not see what an ass that Akshat was. That time she was all ready to be a sacrificial lamb for the sake of Baba's love and the respect she had for him.

Why can't she now trust Shiv and give him the same respect and acceptance she gave Baba's decisions?

While I completely feel that she must work and should not spend her life in the kitchen, she should not have given Shiv the false impression that she is quitting. She should have told him her intentions.

When Shiv asked her, "Hamare pyaar mein kya kami reh gayi thi ki aapne jhooth bolke join kiya?" This is true. He is the ideal husband. She could have msged him, spoken to him, whatsapped him so that he could have figured out a way to deal with this.

Instead, she kind of betrayed the one person who has stood by her through thick and thin even when she was being pushed into a dark future by her own father. He had said to her then, "Hume aap ke vishwas par vishawas hai." Shiv is a very family person. Remember how he used to keep calling his Amma daily when he first shifted to Mumbai. Despite this, he was ready to live separately for her, to save her from being humiliated.

I am very unhappy with the way Gauri has approached this job thing. She SHOULD have taken Shiv into confidence.

The matured way she's handling the issue... I have fallen in love with Gauri, once again!!
