After some thought it is now absolutely clear that Gauri's judaii actions are a facade. Aaiee is guessing it. Shiv too has realized it(as per precap). Gauri has realized that she has to break off her relations totally with Shiv before she can win back Baba's confidence and then rebuild it. How could we all write off Gauri's love for Shiv as hollow? That Dahi handi scene was proof. A simple girl like her dares to rush down and holds on to Shiv not caring what her father says or what the society members say when she sees Shiv is in danger. What more proof is required of her passion?
Now she has changed her strategy. Look at her promises---- she will break off her relation with Shiv and she will marry the person of Baba's choice. She has already done the first. She is scrupulously avoiding Shiv. Now she will be working to make Baba realise that her happiness lies with Shiv and only Shiv and Baba himself will decide to choose Shiv. Gauri knows that Baba when in a good mood is very good but when in a bad mood he is hopeless. Aajee's presence will further help her in this mission. On the Shukla front, Amma has already trapped herself by declaring that she is agreeable to Gauri but it is only Baba's adamant nature that is preventing the alliance. I think Shiv and Bauji will later hold her to this statement.
The CV's are really doing a damn good job of keeping us guessing and they certainly are on the right track.
And I am pretty sure by the time the marriage is fixed Gauri will be admired for her quiet determination in turning the tide in their favour.

About Natasha's query in the last thread about my age, well I have just crossed 60. But that doesn't mean you have to address me as Kamalji or Kamal uncle, plain Kamal should be good enough! Who wants to be reminded of one's age? 😉

I think in my original interactions with you, I called you Kamal. Then realised from seeing posts that you were a father of a married daughter and therefore, far older than I am 😳.

Indian culture then made me feel guilty for calling you by name (respect for elders tends to be so drilled into us that it's almost a subconscious reaction to add some title at the end 😃)

Therefore sticking to Kamalji. Almost feels disrespectful if I don't add the ji at the end.

Kudos for the fantastic posts you make and the effort you take for the threads (for example the first page of this one). And while I don't want to remind you of your age, it's more amazing when I realise you're over 60- you're pretty much the life and soul of this KDP forum.

Shiv adds a ji when speaking to Gauri although she's younger to him (I think?). I wonder if he'll drop the ji when they get married 😆 The Gori-Gauri promo seems to suggest he will, but we'll have to wait and watch.

I liked yesterday's episode , Relief from the drama and chillam chillee.

I think Sayali was fine in acting yesterday, I thought she depicted the facade well. There was a hint of positivity , Chalo Aai , thodya vel ka hoina, pan vichaaraat hoti, tine barobar kele ki chuk ... Good enough for now..
Like Kamalji said, the worst is over. Shiv and Gauri are at their lowest low, so the only way to go from here is up, towards their dreams Looking forward ...
