There was an episode when Amma- Bauji had visited Shiv, when Gauri had cleaned and organised Shiv's home and when they landed on the door, Gauri was inside there, looking (in amma's nazar) not so presentable. And Shiv said she has done all the work around here. So Amma took it as Gauri is kaamwali, and added to it "aaji makes dabbas", coming to conclusion that Gauri's family is some kind of lowly workers' family. 😡

Now I think and hope at least Shiv will make it clear to bauji that Gauri is NOT kaamwali baai.

@bold, I think Shiv's parents know she is not a kaamwaali bai but they have seen the Sawant residence and their lower middle class jobs. Shiv is shown from a very rich family so his parents will always have that differentiation and consider Gauri below their class. IMO that is what they mean by calling her kaamwaali bai (not to be taken literally). This is to be expected. I am just waiting to see how Madhusudan takes the disclosure about Shiv-Gauri's feelings for each other. That is more interesting to me.

dumb + vamp = show... hero-heroin support characters.

These two do make a lovely pair. But surprising thing is Sayali has more than 30K Insta followers compared to 16K of Rishi. Even during JYRG peak LP had 3 times the followers compared to PM. Here too most of the serial Gauri looks a plain Jane. But when she goes into the romantic mode she looks stunning. Rishi on the other hand looks damn good throughout so I wonder what is happening.

I don't think Shiv's parents reaction is OTT. They are going to be shocked on loosing the opportunity to market their highly eligible son! and the same is true for the Savant's too! I am in fact looking forward to the next chapter in the story. Also Nisha in small doses is not bad. Every story needs a good balance of positive and negative elements. Keeping fingers crossed that Zee does not make any characters unreasonably dark!

I agree... Shiv's parents r not different from most Indian parents!! Plus Shiv is khandani rich boy!! While Gauri is a middle class Marathi girl...not upto their status, not of their biradari!! Aur in addition to all this is the ego...ghar me bahu...hamari pasand ki ayegi!! It's difficult to handle!! Yes add to it...shiv's uncle's past involving love story...

I think... Babuji will just try to avoid any confrontation with Sawant family... And get away...how Shiv, Baba and Gauri face this situation... Shall be interesting... Will the judaai come so soon??
