I watched the Malla Vikrant scene and honestly, apart from the fact that it was placed strategically to create an impact on Vikrant later, i found it quite all right. In fact, I expected to see such a scene from the time they got married.

So as a character Vikrant is very righteous! How long will Vikrant run away from the fact that he is tied to Malla? The other day when he yelled at her, for ordering him around, and told her off for Teej, if malla had been the innocent girl he thought she was, it was actually very unfair of him to tell her that they can have nothing between them forever. How long can he resist the pressure / GUILT to move on, considering the reason he got married? Even if he loved Mannat, he can never divorce her, because of what he thinks he did.

So, Gagan's advice spurred him to talk to Malla nicely. He clearly told her, he may never move on, he doesn't know if at all or when...'de paaogi thodasa waqt'?

Then, almost as if he was preparing her to protest with the above pep talk, he told her, " Main is sab mein Ms Mannat ko support karoonga".

And when she said Mannat told me she wants to destroy us..he was totally in disbelief. He made faces behind her back, rolling his eyes like as if..'now she's over reacting'. And he was unprepared for her hug, he never returned it, and when she said she was happy he was thinking about giving their marriage a chance, again he made a face.

But i can understand why people are upset. And it is but natural, I feel. It is the same old 'trust' factor. Why does he trust Malla so much ? His first reaction on seeing the video was ''No...I know Malla hates you, but she knew the flour was for the kids." I wonder how Mannat would have felt hearing this...considering he asks her evidence for every little thing so far.

This tweet below does resonate to a large extent. And this person normally is very positive. God knows how the Manvik love story would have gone ahead if the video was not there implicating Malla!

But have to agree, the writers have built up the drama quotient very well. And the suspense factor too.

Scarlett the bold sections especially Shruti being abused 🙄. The pep talk, I was ok and agree with the explanation. I myself wrote an explanation few pages back

His NO annoyed me too, par I wanted to sit on it overnight since there were so many thoughts going on in my little head and was trying to already reason his may move on comment.

Vikrant, never said NO this confidently be it Bobby waala press leak scene, Bobby scene itself, Neetu poisoning scene that Mannat forced the doctor, theft scene or the dreadful night where she asks for money 🫣

Somewhere this NO tugged my heart 😢 and the social status and how this plays a role in judgement we discussed a few weeks ago came to forefront again along with his parents training him, his family/friends are always right.

Mannat is right in her place about not revealing about Malla, ARS since there is no way he would have believed Mannat.

Take this with a pinch of salt since this is based on BTS, with suicide drama again looks like same thing, Mannat has no proof and since Malla never needs proof, it's automatic everyone will trust Malla even after poisoning children, since she is from a higher social status 🙃. I am curious to see if Vikrant even thinks about calling the cops like Raveena mentioned.

Poor girl. Not only hectic schedule but guess trolling is affecting her health badly. She must take a break for her own healthy life or atleast the makers shall ease her out for a while. She is a young girl, needs to take care.

My 2 cents on trolling, not sure where this trolling is happening since there is praise for her in all platforms. Actors need to ignore a few negative dm's which they receive from nameless folks from behind screens. I am sure majority of the cast including Ayesha & Adnan must have been trolled really bad in 1 track or the other.

About this tweet, i found it wrong and many have replied. Vikrant's love has nothing to do with his trust on malla. He has same trust on Ronie, his mom and others.
They are his family, so it will be difficult for him to accept that his own blood is such filthy and deceitful.

With mannat, he is different. he has always given his support and his love has only grown. All evidence was against mannat, even in neetu case, during chuda ceremony. His own mother blatantly lied that mannat did this, but still he never believed is mom. He knew that his miss mannat will never do such a thing.

He shared a lot because he trusted her a lot, as a friend. Not vice versa.

And his trust on his mother is not misplaced, I keep saying this. There's nothing wrong if he trusted his mom.

I am talking about Mallika. He has got fooled by Mallika. And he does trust Mallika, that's why he gets fooled. Malla herself said that he trusts whatever she says, whereas he asks for proof from mannat. Even ARS told Mannat that. So everyone knows, this particular dynamic, they take advantage of it. So they lie blatantly thinking Mannat can never 'prove' them wrong. He even trusted Malla when she said Mannat tore the chunri!!

Simple fact, Mallika admitted she let him go ahead that night because she had started loving him. Why has he never questioned that? Which honest, morally upright, innocent girl would do that?? He blamed himself never Malla.

It is the writer's fault for keeping him passive because they wanted this dhamaka of a reveal. Call it manipulating the character but they have done it with Vikrant. These are points in the narrative that I am mentioning.

Makes for good drama, though.

there are a lot of ways to look at it, depends on how you look at it.
We all have different perceptions of the same scenario. I may have a different pov , you may have yours. And also the "NO" thing, is more like he never expected Mallika to try to kill innocent children out of the blue.
It would have been a different argument, if he had believed that mannat did but not believing in case of malla.
He doesnt think anyone from his family or mannat is capable of doing such a thing.
His "NO" came out of disbelief and has nothing to do with trust.
TRUST is what he showed to mannat, when everything was against her.

Characters and scenes are often analyzed later, not immediately. Immediate reaction is often emotional, and that what makers expect from viewers. Vikrant and Mallika's bedroom scene left a bitter taste like the wedding episode -- rest didn't matter because I started thinking -- what if Mannat had not returned with the evidence.

When I see the progress of the show, I can very much say why the wedding was needed. I often analyze or predict from a story writers point of view -- for example, I could figure out that Malla's exposure is gonna happen first, along with the father's entry. But, the bedroom scene came out of syllables for me. At the moment, I don't trust Vikrant 😂

Bold, trust me I did too then I had to stop my train of thoughts since what if is not a question for audience, but for characters

I even thought, would he come clean with Mannat about the try moving on part once Malla's full truth is revealed since Mannat deserves to know the truth, then decided to lock up my thoughts about what ifs
