Balwant can still make a comeback?

I think Balwant can still make a comeback.

What if Balwant was jailed after his assault on Krishna, like they can give us a back story that how since he tampered with law kind of openly beating Krishna up and Pratigya's phone call to her senior demanding justice for her husband before they went to the farmhouse. There was mounting pressure from law and police department, officials etc and he had to serve a short sentence or maybe house arrest, just like how Adarsh served a sentence.

What if they kinda justify that he was jailed all this while and after this lockdown track is over, he comes in full force for revenge?
