Kartik seems to be enamored by Lakshmi's words (and idk he seems to like her personally too), but Gayatri and Jia are obviously obsessive about him, so this will create issues for sure. Esp. with Gayatri wanting an educated bahu (her choice, cannot deny her this one) and Lakshu being a 10th pass who had to sacrifice her dreams for her family. Obviously that holds her back in that respect.
