Soaps all set to wrap up

Shreya Creations may have to pull another serial, Mamta, off air, according to the television rumour mills. However, the Creative Head of Mamta, Anumeha, denies and calls it a baseless rumour, "We have taken a yearly leap. We have also introduced new characters to avoid the monotony of the serial and we have taken up a new set also. So there is no reason for the show to wrap up." But why does a serial go off air and sometimes in such a hurry? Neeraj Grover, Creative Head of Shreya Creations' Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hain, believes it is all about the TRPs. He says, "When a channel is unhappy with the TRPs of a show, they ask the production house to wrap it up, because there is a cut throat battle for TRPs." this is when the production house may opt to revamp the show, or at least, add an unexpected twist. Anumeha says, "If a channel discovers a better serial, it replaces an older serial. What is important is to end the show with a major drama."

but this is so disheartening...i mean even though we are hearing something different everytime...its just sad to know that it is even a thought that the show might end...
but whats so bad about the tRps ...cause we watch the show right?and a lot of other people too...and its not even in the prime time so whats the problem...i really hope that this does not happen...i will miss mamta too much..😭
