Nasseruddin Shah's take on saasbahu shows

Just read what Naseruddin Shah has to say about today's saas-bahu shows

When queried on why he doesn't do more of television, the actor says, "I find the medium too taxing, you have to do a certain number of scenes every day, which I regard too much of a strain. Also, till now not too many interesting scripts have come my way which will encourage me to work that tad harder. It's really sad that the same old stuff is being recycled. People defend their lack of creativity by saying that the audiences are lapping up the current saas bahu sagas. You cannot blame the public because if you keep giving them the same content they are bound to get addicted to it."

Whenever this actor turned director gets a little time he watches cricket, news and old films on. He adds, "I avoid watching serials for they end up going nowhere and besides if you miss one episode, you loose the link as well".

yes 'lack of creativity'...that's the real prblm...and they blame it on the viewers....and we fools watch without fail

recent episodes of 'mamta' hv just prompted me to post this.....I'am really disappointed & annoyed with the way they r showing things...defo I watch this show for Akshay only..In order to watch Akku I hv to watch these 🤢things...any comments....

mr shah is a renowned actor. he's even acted in english language feature films. i remember seeing him in 'The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen'. his character's name in that was Captain Nemo & he had a gorgeously cool submarine in the flick.😉

by the way, i do agree with his statments completely. most creative heads of these serials are creatively challenged.😕 thanks for sharing niti di.😊

he is one of the best actors in the world.....arguably the best in bollywood along with Shabana Azmi👏....people r after the superstars....and these great gifted actors(they r so natuaral) r left without being really popular😕😭
