Sid is furious when he learns that Anchal was going to abort the baby. Anchal explains that she has no right to be a mother and doesn't want this baby, but Sid tells her that he wants them to have this baby and makes her promise never to do such a thing again. They hug. At the Tyagi house, when Dhiraj gives his dad the good news abt Anchal's pregnancy, the kids, Lalita and Chanchal are speechless. Lalita accuses Anchal of being selfish and only looking out for her own self. Ayush is worried hearing Lalita say that Sachin will feel neglected and like an orphan.

Anchal is worried how the kids may react after they hear of this pregnancy. She tells Sid that she is most worried for Sachin who will feel cheated. Just then Sachin wakes up hearing this and asks curiously if he is going to have a new bro/sis. Anchal rushes to his side and assures him that no matter what her love for him will never decrease and she will shower all her love only on him. Sachin very sweetly tells her that she can give equal love to both him and his new bro/sis, just like he loves his dad and her equally. Anchal is floored by Sachin's words, and is awed when he names the baby, 'Sonu'. Sid is glad seeing this.

Days later, one day Sid comes home and sees Anchal sketching designs for kids' clothes and she tells him that she got an offer of free lance designing for kids' garments. Sid is happy for her and asks her to take care of herself too. Days pass by and Anchal manages to handle her work and the house very well. Sid and she are happy when she gets her first check of 1 lac rupees. At the Tyagi house, Chanchal bad mouths Anchal in front of Juhi, Ayush and accuses her of ignoring them. Lalita adds in that Anchal will pay for what she did and will never be able to give birth to the baby. Juhi and Ayush look on when Hari walks in hearing this and yells at lalita for cursing Anchal like this and blames her for separating Dhiraj and Sid and creating rifts in their family. There, Anchal gets severe abdominal pains and Sid rushes her to the hospital. The doc checks on her and tells Sid that Anchal's not alright. Sid looks on worriedly.

Precap: Sachin prays to God to protect his mom and sonu. After school Sachin is merrily walking on the road unaware of the car heading towards him.
