Umpteen number of serials/shows have been made on how prospective inlaws of daughters want to marry off their girls when they see some good guy-no dowry/happy family etc...ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD -never they remeber this-Shikha's parents too why did they not do background check,why no other relatives of groom came-atleast close friends-Just because a chicken looks good infront it may not be tasty😛

Exactly the chicken may be housing Salmonella.. 😆 mAke sure it's cooked all over-especially on the inside!

On a serious note though, yes that's true-if background checks are required for acquiring jobs, then why not do a background check before getting married! And it's becoming a norm especially in India to get detective agencies involved before forming these alliances with unknown families!
Sameer no doubt has played his cards very well- but Guptas should have been more careful! I used to squirm each time they'd say-"Kitna accha ladka hai yeh Sameer" 😆 - how do u know that auntie Ji? Anyone can sweet talk, u know 🤢

Chalo, galti tohh ho gayi! Now I am eagerly awaiting for the day when Sameer will be given the taste of his own medicine-I know it's far away in future- but that's the real lesson of MNB- never forget or forgive such monsters! Fight back! 👍🏼

The message as of now clearly is do the background check before getting ur daughter married off to any Tom dick or Harry :)

Still we have so many girls -Educated ones getting cheated in the guise of FOREIGN DULHAS-when ever will our craze for Videsi things go!!!!!Hope this serial opens all those eyes!!!👏

This is the reason, I like part of western system, girl and boy live for a while together and then get married.

Breaking off relation is not easy but it is better than divorce.

I pointed this out in another thread as well. We live in a society today where even for someone to rent a room they need to provide all these references and they check that the owner is good and all. But here Shikha and her parents accepted whatever Sameer told them without checking it even once. They could have simply visited Sameer's office once at least.

And the sad part is...people STILL do not learn. So many parents/girls easily get sucked into the squeaky clean good guy image but fail to do a proper check on the guy and his background.

This serial is good entertainment but yes, it also gives us an important message.

Well I understand what you guyz are saying and yes its true

HOWEVER

The police did a full background check on Sameer and found...Nothing!!!

So even if the parents did that,,they would have found he is a clean guy and it would give them all a good reason to say yes to the marriage

Valid point...

so I guess the message is - trust no one, especially your sweet and romantic husband cuz he might be after your life 😆

Jokes aside, I don't wanna sound like a paranoid nutcase but these kinda serials freak me out
