So, there was a promo of this new Pakistani drama which is starting soon called Qudrat. And the concept seemed so similar to this story that I couldn't help but think that maybe the story is similar.

Basically, the concept of that show is that the guy is told by a fortune teller that his first wife is gonna die. Now, the guy is in love with some other girl and wants to marry her but due to what the fortune teller said, he marries an innocent girl so that after she dies he can get married to the girl he loves.

So what do you think? Could this be the reason why Sameer is trying to get Shikha out of the way so he can marry someone else ASAP without any problems?

^ Could be. In fact that makes sense. But what doesn't make sense is if she's going to die anyways why try and kill her? Let her die a natural death.

I thought that too but it makes sense because maybe hes in a hurry to get his love back so wants to kill her asap? 😆

I don't think so.. why will he try to kill Shikha so brutally? And why her??And what relation does he have with that stalker? So confusing..

I guess the stalker is merely a diversion tactic, which gave Sameer a chance to be a knight in shining armor always coming to Shikha's rescue. He was able to gain trust easily as well that way.

The motive of marriage has to do something with the child as already mentioned in story summary that Shikha & Sameer will have a child and i think soon after Sameer will try to kill Shikha..

i dunno what to say but i was just shocked to see the way he killed shikha😲 i can't sleep at night very rude he was

and i think sameer's parents are not really his parents i think he arranged someone to act like his parents...i just say this from the yesterdays episode

No I don't think that could be da reason. because in da promo they said Shikha story starts 21/2 years early. if Sameer wanted to marry someone else why would he not kill shikha earlier.

There was a movie ANKAHI with the same story in 1985.

It was a great movie.

ANKAHEE (The Unspoken) is a 1985 Indian Hindi film about astrology, directed by Amol Palekar and starring Amol Palekar, Deepti Naval and Dr. Shriram Lagoo. It was based on Marathi-language play, Kalay Tasmai Namaha by writer, C. T. Khanolkar. The film is also noted for its soundtrack, which won two awards.

In the movie Amol Patekar's father is an Astrologer tells him that his first wife will die, Amol was in love with a girl and he didn't want her to die so marries a girl who was mentally challenged Depti Naval but this girl does not die.
