This has to be one of my favorite episodes of Mahi way.. true, it lacked the usual chilled out nature and dry humor of the show but it was probably one of the most emotional and dramatic ones. The reason why I loved it though is cause of two reasons:
-- the most obvious one is Mahi having a vision of her true happy future
-- the second one is the food for thought that our adorable Shiv gave towards the end (it gave it
this Rishta.com feel which made it even more specialš³ but back to the topic)
I know for a fact that practically anyone who saw today's episode will be doing their personalized happy dance after seeing the cuuuuuutesssst future of Mahi and Shivš Go on, accept it, I know I wasš Viraf Patel did the most adorable thing when he whined "mujhe nahiii jaana haiiii!" One word - Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!š³ and am pretty sure I had drool on the edge of my mouth when I saw Viraf in that green vest.. lying on the bed.. like a Greek Godšš¤Ŗ That scene made me realize.. even though we only got 5 mins of Shiv.. that to towards the end.. totallllllly worth it!!! But ofcourse, how can Mahi's dream be complete without a lil bit of humor right?! and the joke of the century was *drum roll* Ishaan Singh !! I have to say Siddhant Karnik knocked it out the ball park with his old and bald dude act.. š he alwaaaaays gets the weirdest make-overs!! Gosh, Mahi way is amazing!!!!
Now, coming to "Hum sab thody paagal hotey hain" I don't think human psychology can be explained in a better manner, and I don't think the show can be explained in a better manner. I think the line exactly mirrors every character in the show, and their actions as well. Ishaan dumping Jasmine and running back to Mahi, Shiv being way too nice to Mahi no matter what she does, Mahi chosing Ishaan over Shiv.. it's all craaaaaaaazy! ALso, the line does perfect justice to every action that favored Ishaan, and Dev over Shiv. I accept, I did feel like starving Mahi everytime she did it.. but if we sit and think about it.. the girl is confused afterall. Chosing between your chuddy buddy and the guy you secretly crushed on during the peak time of your body bulking up on estrogen.. I think even might get blinded by the daydreams and turn a blind eye to the guy who truly understands me. However, the Dev chapter was a complete no-no for Mahi.. that time she was just being stupid.
We have seen everyone's paagal side in the show.. the best, in my opinion, being that of Sid and Rosh. However, we haven't seen the paagal side of Shiv Desraj!!! Hopefully, his paagal side concerns bursting into Mahi's wedding, stop being so freakin' nice!!, and marrying herš
