Sometimes you don't realize someone's worth until you lose them. We could see leading up to this that Ishan regretted letting Mahi go. Yes he was terrible to her, but you could see he saw his mistake. And men are very right here, right now. So as soon as Ishan realized he wanted Mahi back he went after her right away. I wouldn't call him a stalker, but he was lovelorn and desparate. Its like when you realize you left something valuable on the bus or train or in a taxi. You realize you lost it and hope with all hope its still there when you go back. And you can't calm down and feel relief until you have it back in your hands. I think that is what happened with Ishan. On another note we know Shiv is the greatest, but if Mahi isn't feeling any passion for him or any real romantic feelings, that may never change. If she did marry him under those circumstances, Shiv would suffer the most from that. Anyway, just my thoughts.
Glad that somebody's got the same POV as me. Couldn't have said it better. Ishan has realized his mistake and he is trying to rectify it. Nobody's perfect. Some of us are a little more imperfect than others. Ishan left her before and now he's back. If Mahi refused to give him a chance, I would have understood as well. But now that she has, her decision makes sense to me. Shiv has told her that he's not ready for marriage yet and that it was a good thing that Mahi rejected him. Plus, Mahi's only got 2 weeks to find somebody before she reaches the deadline of her mother's ultimatum (which she has already given up on anyway). After all this and Ishan saving her from "Davv", Ishan does appear to have changed. I think after Jasmine he's realized what Mahi went through and giving him another chance is not such a bad idea. Shiv is perfect. I don't think guys like Shiv exist, honestly. But hypothetically let's say they do. What's next? Mahi has rejected him. Shiv is trying to move on. I agree that if Mahi had accepted Shiv's proposal, it would not have been fair to Shiv. Mahi needs to see what Shiv is worth and understand just how important Shiv is in her life and to her as an individual. I think this separation from Shiv is a good thing. She'll realize his importance now. Being with Ishan with help her sort out her life and what's she's looking for. Or rather, who she's looking for. Once she sees that, there is no way the girl can stop herself from falling head over heels for this guy! :D
