Ishans Behavior

So, Ishan has basically used Mahi and moved on to the next girl, right? But how come he isnt acting cold towards her? He knew his intentions so why is he acting like he's sorry? Shouldnt a guy like him be able to look past someone like Mahi without noticing her pain? I'm not defending him but his behavior seemed very strange to me.

First, when they were returning from the weekend trip he looked upset that Mahi was crying, he kept turning to look at her and then in todays episode his facial expressions completely changed when he saw her. It wasn't uncomfortableness upon seeing her with his fiance, but rather of hurt. And then when Mahi's Teddy bear fell he quickly picked it up for her and gave her a stare that said anything but "I could care less about you".

Maybe trying to fool Mahi again

thank you....i thought i was the only one that picked up on ishaan's vibe it also looked like he felt bad when his fiancee was laughing at mahi......

I saw that too...! he definately did not look embrassed or angry with Mahi.. nor was it a casual thing.. He even Messaged he SORRY...! why would he do that?

I get the feeling that he really likes Mahi and just cannot digest it himself...! May be he had so much fun that he got scared and was thinking of the reputation he has created for himself. And may be to prove to himself that he is still the same Ishaan he quickly got engaged to Jasmin...!

yea it does make a lot of sense. Maybe that is the case, it is very possible and I hope that's how it is!

I totally totally agree! I was going to start a topic about this myself, you beat me to it...lol!!

I always thought that Ishaan would turn out to be a big jerk...like he is hanging out with Mahi for a stupid article or a bakra thing, or something horrendous like that, but it wasnt so!
Mahi gave ishaan some unique gifts and ishaan became intrigued....when he actually met Mahi, he wasn't disappointed or he didn't run away (like i expected him to), he just acted normally and let her have a good time and was always nice towards her!

Okay so he did sleep with her and then kind of dumped her but we and even Mahi always knew that. Ishaan has always openly been showed to be a player, Mahi knew that, the whole world knew that. He never said he loves Mahi, or that she is his GF....he thought that they were having a good time which seemed okay to him...!

After they slept together, i thought Ishaan is just going to leave her alone with a driver or something along those lines; but he didn't. He made it clear to her face to face that he wasn't in for a relationship. He genuinely looked upset all the way while Mahi was crying. Even when he was with Jasmine and they met Mahi, I was pleasantly surprised to see that he wasn't cold or mean or even ignorant towards Mahi. He helped her, didn't smirk at her, looked guilty actually, and even introduced her to jasmine.

Even though I always wanted and still want Shiv-Mahi to be together, I think Ishaan is a decent guy within. I think he was actually having fun with Mahi and he got scared of it and that's why he ended it so abruptly. Remember once he was talking to Mahi about how he wrote to Aunt Agne about tips for being successful. He just thinks, I think, that he can't risk doing anything which would supposedly ruin his image. He is definitely going to come back to her, I just hope Mahi realizes Shiv's worth and his love before that.

And since then I've been thinking is it that he still has feelings for Mahi or is just the guilt?

As we know he is a player so he has dumped many girls before, so by now he should be able to deal with his guilt. He shouldn't have any, if he did, he would've stopped.

So, is it true that he genuinely feels for Mahi? But then why would he break her heart so ruthlessly? And especially after Mahi was expecting that he would propose to her...

I can understand what PShakti's saying... that makes a bit sense too, but even if that is true, I wouldn't want Mahi-Ishan... not now.

well to begin with, its quite silly of Mahi to expect ANYONE to propose to her after a few dates, she was def flying a bit too high.
