Should Mahi Forgive Ishan? - Page 2

*Sigh* I really wanted Mahi-Ishaan to be together.

But if the precap is real and not just Mahi's imagination then i want him to get out of Mahi's life! Well that's what i thought at first but then i saw this post:

After such a disgusting act (proving that Ishan is being a jerk), I don't think it would be wise to take him back again...even if Ishan truly repents and does a 360 in his life.

They say that time heals everything so one day Mahi will be able to forgive Ishan. She doesn't look like one to hold grudges but to take him back will be an insult upon herself and Shiv, who's been there from day one and will always be there.

And i realized that's it's human nature to make mistakes. And Ishaan really did screw up. He played with her emotions and that's really sick. But if he really does resent it and proves to her that he's changed then he should be forgiven this one time.

But I agree on the fact that she shouldn't take him back. Mainly because he didn't just choose to tell her when he first saw her that he didn't like her. (That would be mean and jerky of him but at least it wouldn've been the truth.) He thought it would be funny to insult her and pretended to be 'interested' in her. And that's just really disgusting. I won't be able to take him back and i hope Mahi wont either.

Even though i wan't Ishaan - Mahi together, Shiv seems to be a better match for her. In front of Ishaan she's too self-conscious. She always wants to seem perfect and in tip-top shape and she's too worried about what HE thinks and that's not important. In front of Shiv she's normal. Just Mahi.

But I'm just hoping the pre-cap would be her imagination. Because i wan't Mahi&Ishaan lol. And even if tehy wont happen I'd want them to be friends, atleast.

I agree, Sid was telling her that she should lose weight and this way she will find out through Ishaan's reaction if he is shallow or not. So I think that Ishaan wasn't making fun of her in real and it probably was just Mahi's imagination.

Probably. Maybe she was imagining that when she was working out and maybe that'll motivate her to loose weight? Because i think it said somewhere that when the show ends, she was gonna loose weight.

i dont get it, alot of people are saying Mahi should stay wit SHIV because HE HELPED HER WHEN SHE WAS DOWN...friends do that dont they? but that doesnt mean youre indebted to them. its about what makes her FEEL GOOD and not WHAT IS GOOD for her.

if she loves Ishan shes gonna love him regardless of wether hes a jerk or not, thats just how love functions, its not called blind for nothing. and plus, everyone deserves a second chance dont they?

and what's life without the experience of the ups and downs?

Okay this makes sense too.

But i don't think she's in love with Ishaan... yet. If she DOES fall in love with him then she'll probably forgive him for this sooner or later.

I don't know what love (well family & friends love not like the boy loves girl thing) is but with all the shows i've seen, they forgive each other no matter how much they screw up.

So now I'm confused on what i think. 😕

I agree Mahi.
But you know, there's this thing in girls. When they're kinda crushing on a guy, all his flaws become invisible to the girl. Despite of their pathetic behavior, they still tend to forgive the person, because they know they can't feel the same way for any other guy. And the person who cares a lot for them, is considered the best buddy, and nothing more than that. I'm saying it cause it is kinda true. I mean, if you would look through Mahi's POV, then for her, She likes Ishaan, and he means everything to her. So at the end of it, if he does return to her and apologizes, she'll definitely forgive him. I'm just taking the reality aspect of it all.

But Rach, do you think Mahi really is in love? I can only see this as a crush....

I can never understand how you can forgive a guy who so ruthlessly breaks your trust. I just can't understand that. So, even though forgiving Ishan is the right thing to do, I would not want her to take him back and trust him all over again.

Maybe we understand that it is just a crush, but for Mahi, she thinks its love. It happens to everybody. Mahi is no exception.

And if she thinks she's in love with Ishaan, she'll overlook ALL Flaws of his. It's wrong, but it's a natural thing a girl would do if she thought she's in love with someone.

Right, but hopefully soon she will realize that it's only a crush. You can't love someone for their looks, love is much deeper than that.

And I still don't get that but I guess a lot of girls do that. I would be willing to look over all flaws but unfaithfulness, dishonesty, and disloyalty.
