The episode starts with Rudra scooping the "dying" Maya in his arms to take her home. Punnu who sees this cannot control himself and runs away to cry his heart .
On their way, Maya inquires about the time she has to live. Rudra asks her not to lose hope and she promises to never leave Rudra till he himself doesn't ask so.
Prof. Rao tells the family members to be supportive and to go with Rudra and Maya while he will complete all the hospital formalities. Alone with Shiva, he tells the latter that Maya is critical and shiva on the other hand talks about his apprehension. The lethal poison injected in Maya is that of a snake- the same snake which always awaits for Mahakumbh.
It also implies that this snake is already here.
When the family reaches home, all are shocked to see Rudra preparing for his wedding with Maya with Punnu fixing the date and day- the next day!
Rudra asks Daadi to do Maya's kanyadaan since she is an orphan. He also apologizes to his own parents for not seeking their permission before. Shiva gives him his blessings. He then delegates responsibilities to his Garudas buddies. An emotional Punnu accepts to perform the wedding and Rudra reassures everyone- nothing will happen to Maya.
Prof. Rao asks Tiwari to get Maya's blood sample to forensic lab to get more information about this poison ( used in 1869 in Mahakumbh) in her blood in the hope for a miracle medical science to save Maya.
Daadi on the other hand informs everyone that Maya and Rudra's wedding will be celebrated without grief and tears! Everybody disperses to start the preparations. Finally alone, Maya asks Rudra to give this marriage idea a second thought. Rudra smiles lovingly at her and tells her that he has decided. They are going to get married.
