This week we had the bombastic entry of Gautam

In a rugged ruff and tuff avatar,

The role is a complete contrast to the suave Saras

And also likely to be quite a complex one,

For a multitude of reasons

Playing a superhero is never an easy task

Because it's role that requires you to be

Believable in a very unbelievable role

To be physically superhuman, yet emotionally vulnerable

Be sensitive, yet a fighter, to be superhuman

Yet very real and very grounded!

And when the story also has a mythological angle to it,

It requires even greater suspension of disbelief

And the actor has to be even more convincing to make his persona and actions believe able

He has taken a huge risk by agreeing to this role,

But, if any one can pull it off, it's gauti

He has the persona and the talent to pull it off

And his rustic look in the show is really good!

The first two weeks have been great, so here's hoping for an exciting journey

Into Rudras world where the past and the present come together !!!

Its only Gautam that can do this.

See the contrast. Even in Saraswatichandra he could do the 'angry guy' who would plough the field with anger and the 'softest guy' who would melt at the words of his 'mai' and stay back.

Its a complete range of emotions to portray.

In Mahakumbh, the challenge is to stay in the character. There is mostly anger, valor, guilt to portray. All of them are negative and rajasic traits. It takes a toll. Good luck to Gautam.

Happy that Gautam Rode is getting the opportunity to showcase his talent through Mahakumbh. He has the capacityt to pull it off and I believe that as the story unfolds we will get to see more emotions other than this angry young man one.

wonderful post Arshi...

i would compare on SC lines to compare Saras n Rudr...if Saras ws calm lik Moon,then Rudr is fiery lik Sun...n kudos to Gautam for proving his excellence in acting by portrayin these two polar opp chars so so well..!!

Good luck to him n excited to see wht new new milestones Gautam gonna achieve as Rudr..!!

Hey Arshiji,

Wish you and all here very Happy New Year.

Finally I got to comment this holidays are driving me crazy so much to do.

Anyways episodes were so good.

Finally we got our Gauti back and what an entry it was!

Honestly he is the only one who can pull this character like he did with Saras.

Not much to say about Payal I will comment about her later but not so impressive start.

May be I am wrong but I have this feeling about her that she is there on order of Swamiji or Pandeji to keep an eye on Rudra.

Let's see what's in future but really this show is amazing and very different.

Hope this show and Gauti gets all the success they deserve.

Just loved Rudra's entry and his Jahil avatar. So different from Saras, but Gauty gives him an equal charm. I loved his entry and totally loved him as Rudra. Really looking forward to his character developing over time.

I love his love for Mai Mui and their bonding!
