See that's what discriminates History from fiction

The antagonist of fiction does everything wrong, however in historyn being antagonist doesn't mean he is Res for everything bad and he would always do everything bad.

Duryodhan might have been the antagonist but definitely wasn't irrational. He fought for what he thought was right. He stood for his correctness.

He honoured his commitments throughout.

We can not blame him for future wars too just because he was the antagonist. This war happened solely due to the stupidity of Yudhishtir and not because of Duryodhan

Yes he wanted since the day Draupadi came into his life, but she wasn't the reason for his Yagya. The Yagya was only for Dhristhdhyum, she came along and since she came, Drupad wanted her to marry Arjun
