Abhimanyu was born at least 3-4 years after Swayamwar. Arjun had already begotten two sons by then and Draupadi still at none?

@Bold it's her decision then. I don't understand when people take polygyny so easily without issues why not Polyandry

I don't think she had that much right to decide. Still it's practically impossible to decide who's child is who, if there was no pattern.

Only plausible explanation is that she used to visit a particular husband one month from whom she wants a child.

Tbh Krishna is the best politician ever existed in this world.

Krishna who was so close to draupadi that he fought a whole war for her, Arjun who was supposed to be most dearest to him. i cant believe he wud allow their kids to be killed knowingly. Even after the war krishna arjun and draupadi were very close to each other. If he really did so then IDK what to say about him😲

Abhimanyu being the crown prince isn't explicitly mentioned. We assume so because Satyaki proposed taking him as crown prince and attacking Hastinapur

Aside Yuvraj was Bheem. Even if Abhimanyu would have been the crown prince in case of his death, his brothers would have greater stake on the throne since he wasn't the king

Krishna didn't plan the murders he just didn't do anything to stop it

well if it was her decicion then it was actually more of a test for the brothers to be able to stay together. wouldnt her choosing one over another create more fights between them .if the purpose of draupadi married to all 5 was to keep brothers together.

makes me wonder if they actually shared draupadi because it was more feasible. i read an article where it was mentioned that in a village brothers shared wifes because that would make a lesser person to feed. And the pandavas dint have anything with them so it was more feasible financially

even then if he knew about it yet kept quiet that still is cheating on his both close friends

Bold : I too read the same that in a village near Himalayan foothills, they follow Polyandry because they believe in One house, One kitchen, One bride formula to maintain unity.

Uppandavas actually are always a mystery for me.

During Dyut Sabha, Yudhishtir says after losing himself that he isn't left with anything to stake, he however has definitely not staked Prativindhya.

Why did he feel he could stake his brothers but not his son?
