By the way has any of Mahabharata actors (not actresses) except Shaheer got a lead role since then?

shaheer had lead role in navya before too. Ya n SRJ got shiva ka role with pooja and neil in PB but it ended. Aham had one in manmarziyan but there were 2 ML there

Exactly. Can't be sure of Karna but Duryodhan definitely held Karna in high regards and had genuine feelings for him.

Just to give more sympathy to Karna, they just got Duryodhan do this. Real Duryodhan never could have done this

SRJ was actually the lead in Chandragupta Maurya too

have you seen Shaheer ke shows after MB spcly KRPKAB & YRHPK . he was very good as dev & is very good as Abir. he is not some mediocre actor now. And this is after i was not at all impressed with him in navya(i thought he is some new actor doing his first show) & MB (i found him improving only towards the end of the show & felt he lacked voice modulation. Maybe he is not v good in mytho roles.

Pooja is still v popular its about the kind of roles she gets though and what she chooses. once a mytho show is done people keep offering same type of roles. which explains why she got mahakali. Even SRJ has played mytho roles after MB like akbar, shiva, dhananand, even a movie he did was mytho based. He got Neil in PB but then i could not connect with his acting there. And its not like SRJ is good in mytho roles only he was good as Aman in parichay. So it a lot depends on how the directors make the actor approach it. Shaheer was already popular with navya so it was easier for him to get lead roles after MB. And who says SRJ is not popular. He is as popular as shaheer. its just that he got more mytho roles offered after MB . Krishna is lager than life character. its difficult to break that image. Even nitish bharadwaj faced the same issue.

And with ITV once an actor plays a very poplar role for years the image gets stuck. Actors who do finite series like for a year or two fare better with getting different roles & many roles

idk dint watch it. i thought the show was based on chandragupt maurya and dhananand was villain there😆. but i guess due to SRJ popularity they gave him more screenspace
