I don't think Jaidrath didn't recognize Draupadi. He might have felt that with her husbands exiled and away, she has no escape so tried to abduct her

Or Ghato might be right.

Virat n family not recognising isn't a big deal, you dont remember you saw someone 16 years back just once and definitely Draupadi would have made some changes in her looks.

Maybe Virat had a son named Uttar whom he loved very much, he died sometime after Draupadi Swayamwar, a few years later he had twins, so he names the son Uttar in the memories of his dead son.

Jokes apart, this could be a possibility that Virat named his younger son on his elder (now dead) son

First of all, no one went to get married alone. Dulha hamesha baraati leke Jaata hai.

So duryodhan was Dulha, Shakuni, Balhika, Karna were baraati.

Similarly Krishna's whole family were gharati. So we may have Adult Pradyumna with his toddler son as Gharaati.

Virat bhi would have taken his two toddler sons as Baraati.

A 2 or 3 yr old uttar at Draupadi swayamvar will be 33 yr old man at the time of war. Married definetly with a boy of his own. Yeah compared to Arjun who must be in his 50s he would be young.

But like Posted above, many times children were born named and died in childhood. Could be that Virat named his next born son uttar.

Uttar and uttara were not twins by the way.
