To further add to it i am not a shipper and Mahabharata for me is not romantic hocus bocus. Yes i will stand by the point where i said that krishna and krishnaa would have made the best married couple out there. I will stand by my point that these two were soulmates and that they did had tender feelings for eachother proof of which is spread all over the epic. None of her husbands react the way krishna does whenever the assault is mentioned. And in greatest time of need he was the only person she called out to. But more tham anything what i like is ofcourse their ability of standing for the right while everyone else including so the called oh so great arjuna were more concerned with there only worldly needs these two people sacrifice everything for others yeah i more into celebrating that relationship rather the non existent so called love stories
The quote I provided was from Mahabharata, not script of a Bollywood movie so I am aware that Mahabharata is not a Bollywood movie
Krishna and Draupadi being soulmates is your opinion, I am not arguing against it because opinions are not facts, you are entitled to your opinion, I am asking you to give citation where Draupadi is mentioned as Goddess Laxmi so I can consider this as a fact
Even Arjun is being called Krishna's soulmate, doesn't mean he was Goddess Laxmi, I am not saying anything against these beliefs
Krishna also makes it very clear that Arjun means the most to him, yet you say he would have left Pandavas
My wives, my kinsmen, my relatives, non amongst these is dearer to me than Arjuna. O Daruka, I shall not be able to cast my eyes, even for a single moment, on the earth bereft of Arjuna. I tell thee, the earth shall not be reft to Arjuna. Myself vanquishing them all with their steeds and elephants by putting forth my strength for the sake of Arjuna, I will slay them with Karna and Suyodhana
I am not arguing against anyone's opinion on any relationship, I just want to know about Draupadi being Goddess Laxmi
Krishna cannot go around saying the same thing for drapaudi that would have raised many eyebrows 😆. But he did made it very clear in other ways what she meant.
Vyasa mention her as sree and sree is another name of laxmi. I am more inclined to believe that her sree was laxmi rather than rukhmini s because drapaudi actually contribute to greater good unlike rukhmini i am sure laxmi as a goddess had better roles to play than only getting married to krishna

We need a new thread ? Whom 2 contact ?
This what drapaudi says to krishna in vana parva -
Saying this the mild-speeched Krishna hid her face with her soft hands like the buds of lotus, and began to weep. And the tears of Panchali begot of grief washed her deep, plump and graceful breasts crowned with auspicious marks. And wiping her eyes and sighing frequently she said these words angrily and in a choked voice, 'Husbands, or sons, or friends, or brothers, or father, have I none! Nor have I thee, O thou slayer of Madhu, for ye all, beholding me treated so cruelly by inferior foes, sit still unmoved! My grief at Karna's ridicule is incapable of being assuaged! On these grounds I deserve to be ever protected by thee, O Kesava, viz., our relationship, thy respect (for me), our friendship, and thy lordship (over me)
She clearly singles him out accepts his right/lordship on her and says how she deserves protection from him .
This was drapaudi (laxmi) accepting krishna (vishnu) right on her.

Krishna himself never wanted 2 marry Draupadi , that's why dint participated only.
He already had world's best wife his love , his soulmate with him , aur kya chaiye.
@ poorbh
What if instead of Draupadi ,subhadra was staked in dice hall & humilated like Draupadi .
What u think , what would be d reaction of lord krishna ??
Acc 2 me lord krishna tried 2 give a lesson whenever a woman will be insulted , it will pave way for big destruction.

Why would it raise eyebrows if Draupadi is Goddess Lakshmi?
Vyasa mentions her as Celestial Sri
Vyasa mentions Rukmini as Sri
Draupadi had a role in Mahabharata which is based on life of Pandavas, In Mahabharata, Pandavas are more important than Krishna, It doesn't mean Krishna is inferior to them

Ofcourse he didn't participate he gave her up and she him because a lot was at stake and they needed to do it for the greater good. You certainly don't like drapaudi as i have gauge that certainly does not reduce drapaudi s importance in krishna s life. I am not saying that rukhmini pr others were bad wives or they were not important to him or even arjuna was not important to him ofcourse they were every relationship has it own place in a person life. But this does not mean that drapaudi held any lesser position then either Arjuna or rukhmini in krishna s life
Here this what he says in vana parva even though arjuna clearly tries to calm him down but one mentioned of drapaudi s plight and he takes an oath all of arjuna s hard work gone to waste -
Vaisampayana continued, 'In that assembly of heroes Vasudeva then spake unto the weeping Draupadi as follows, 'O fair lady, the wives of those with whom thou art angry, shall weep even like thee, beholding their husbands dead on the ground, weltering in blood and their bodies covered with the arrows of Vivatsu! Weep not, lady, for I will exert to the utmost of my powers for the sons of Pandu! I promise thou shalt (once more) be the queen of kings! The heavens might fall, or the Himavat might split, the earth might be rent, or the waters of the ocean might dry up, but my words shall never be futile!' Hearing those words of Achyuta in reply, Draupadi looked obliquely at her third husband (Arjuna). And, O mighty king, Arjuna said unto Draupadi, 'O thou of beautiful coppery eyes, grieve not! O illustrious one, it shall be even as the slayer of Madhu hath said! It can never be otherwise, O beautiful one!'
Arjuna ultimately had no option but agree. You see Krishnaa s influence on Krishna. These actions are more than words
The one who opened this thread I guess. Am new to this forum. So I don't exactly know who moderates it.
